Spooktacular Frank

Hello Nomad friends! Frank was feeling a bit grumpy cos I haven't had him out of the box for Halloween, so I said he could be the star today!  Over at the Lost Coast Portal to Creativity the new challenge is Spooktacular Florals, so Day of the Dead and/or Floral and/or Spooky anythings work, but please remember the theme and real handstamping, rubber or clear, must be the focus of your project.

I've gone spooky CAS, although I do think Frank is too cute to spook!!

I used some dark green leather effect card for my card base.  Carmen Veranda's Frankenstein was stamped and black powder embossed on white card, smeared with Cracked Pistachio distress ink and spritzed with water.  When he was dry I used a little orange and green gel pen on his bolts and eyes.  For the extra scary effect I used Lost Coast Designs License Plate Alphabet, stamped B O O on orange card and embossed with Zing Lime Green opaque powder.  I think green and orange is such a fab combo.  Mother nature always rocks these two colours and they give great contrast.

You have until the November 14th to link up your Spooktacular Florals projects.  Remember you must use the theme and hand stamping on your anythings.   See you there.......

Thanks for dropping by.  Hugz

Fun Frank, Gail and I love how you colored him (very glam with the "makeup")! Just love the textured card and the vertical sentiment too!!

This is awesome Gail! Frank is kind of creepy looking ... maybe he's having a bad day! LOL Thanks so much for joining in the fun at the Two Old Bats Halloween challenge! Good Luck and we hope you’ll come back each month. Remember, you can play as many times as you’d like!! If we have 50+ entries, we will give a PRIZE.

Hahaha! Frank was probably not a bad looking guy when he was alive the first time. Not sure I'd want to run into him in a dark alley now! Funny about him being a movie star. Well, he is! I love the green leather-look cardstock. I have some in white, but colors would be great. I'm so glad to see your card at our Two Old Bats Halloween Challenge, Gail!

Well, he looks like Boris Karloff in that legendary movie "Frankenstein" I looked it up and it was released back in 1931.
I love the green hue you gave his "handsome" face, LOL!! and the touch of orange for his eyes and bolts make him look totally scary.
Thank you for sharing with us at TWO OLD BATS HALLOWEEN CHALLENGE.
Stay healthy and safe.
