Hey Baby

Hello Nomad friends.  Made a baby card with a huge chipboard from Stamperia.

I sponged yellow ink on my yellow card base and then stamped with a Stamperia text stamp with brown ink.  I added a tag, a scrap of textured gold card, some gold sticker letters, a heart sticker and the baby in a cradle chipboard.

Blue Bird of Happiness

Hello Nomad friends!!   It was national day in Norway at the weekend and much fun was had by all.   I like that this celebration has children in focus with as much ice cream and hotdogs as you can eat, and of course, CAKE!!   I am still working my way through the cake so do drop in if you are passing.....

Today I am over on the Lost Coast Portal to Creativity with some inspiration for the No Body Here Challenge!  We want to see your stamped anythings, but no people allowed.  I went with a tag and the very wonderful Whimsical Flora.

I cut a tag with daisy mae cross stitch die and stamped Lost Coast Designs Long Swirl with red, pink and black archival inks.  Then I edged and grunged up the tag using the black ink pad. I stamped Whimsical Flora on white card, coloured with promarkers and fussy cut her.  I stamped the words using Lost Coast Designs Party Words and added them and some neon green wool to finish and give me a whole rainbow of colours.

Grab your stamps and join the fun!!  You have all month to share your stamped anythings featuring anything EXCEPT PEOPLE!!  Real rubber or clear stamping and the theme must be the focus of your project and we need at least 20 entries to award the prize.

Chickin Away

Hello Nomad friends.  I'm here with some bird inspired inspiration for the Lost Coast Portal to Creativity No Body Here challenge.   We want you to leave your people at home and show us anything but humanoids on your stamped anythings.  I went with Carmen's Veranda Duck and that lovely checkered swirl from Lost Coast Designs.   I think it's gonna be well used......

Gotta love a cute duck!!!   I stamped the swirl on a piece of white card, fussy cut a bit of the edge and then used a Funky Fossil tag die to cut the rest of the tag.  I stamped Carmen's Veranda Duck on a piece of yellow card, added some promarker colour to beak and feet and fussy cut.  I stamped Lost Coast Designs Party Words and then added duck and a little snowball wool.

If you have a moment do hop over to the Lost Coast Portal to Creativity and check out all the amazing art and free tutorials from my awesome team mates.  Join the challenge for a chance to win a real rubber stamp prize.  Hope to see you there.

Hello Nomad friends.  I hope you are having a wonderful weekend.  Spring may have sprung with April showers and flowers.  I've made a simple tag featuring a GNOME with a tulip for the Anything Gnome Challenge at the Lost Coast Portal to Creativity.  I love tulips, and the deers think they are very tasty as well...........

This is Lost Coast Designs Tulip Gnome.  Isn't he adorbs!!!   I cut my tag with a Stamplorations Stitched Tag die and then stamped the gnome and sentiment.  Added some distress marker colour and a bit of bobbly wool and done!

In Perspective

Hello Nomad friends.  Today I am over at the Lost Coast Portal to Creativity with more Gnome fun.

I made a tag using Lost Coast Designs Coffee Gnome, ATC Perspective and Pieces of Calligraphy with Carmen's Veranda Coffee Vs Challenges sentiment.
I started with a piece of card that had a ray pattern on it and cut it with Daisy Mae tag die.  Then I smeared the edges with yellow archival ink and stamped some of the Pieces of Calligraphy stamps with the same ink to add some texture.  I stamped the ATC Perspective with brown archival ink and the sentiment with black archival ink. I stamped Coffee Gnome on white card, coloured with distress markers, fussy cut and added him to the tag.  I found some curious bobbly lace for my tag tie.
Hope you like my gnomey tag.  You have all month to share your stamped anythings featuring GNOMES!!  Real rubber or clear stamping and the theme must be the focus of your project and we need at least 20 entries to award the prize.

Happy International Womens Day

Hello Nomad friends.  Today is all about celebrating women and I am taking some time for myself to craft.  I made this cute little tag using found items and a sentiment from Aall and Create.

I cut the tag base and corrugated layer with Daisy Mae distressed tag dies.   The layered label and tiny flowers are Spellbinders cuts.  I attached the tag with tiny heart brads.  The art doll is from an Art by Marlene die cut pad and a bit of fancy wool to finish.

Bunny Tag

Hello Nomad friends.  Woke up to a bucketing down with snow day.  Not impressed.  Hens not impressed.  Cat not impressed.  Let's craft!!!

I am die cutting some scraps and chucking the results in a container.  Today I decided to have a rattle through and pulled out a grey tag, a bunny, a few stars, a couple of pointy black bits and a preprinted sentiment that all seemed to fit together nicely.

I used distress oxide ink on the tag and stamped some numbers from the visible image white rabbit set using yellow Dox.   The bunny is a Papirdesigns die and the stars and black pointy bits are cut with spellbinders dies.  I also found a perfect scrape of black and white handspun wool that finished it off to perfection.

A Tag Within A Tag

Hello Nomad friends.  Here's a pocket tag, with a tag in the pocket!

I used Lexi Design Christmas Loft for my tag pocket and cut Poppystamps Snowflake Corner Frame from white card.   I stamped the Papirdesigns christmas sentiment on a scrap of the xmas loft card and tucked it behind the edge of the snowflake.

Inside the pocket is another tag urging the recipient to check vipps, an instant pay app in Norway.  I used a handle brad on the corner of my tag so it can be easily retrieved from the pocket.

Squueeeeeee! Cuteness Alert

Hello Nomad friends.  I have been playing with some cute images, some scraps and a slim tag die and made a few very cute bookmarks.

Isn't he adorbs!!!  The cute winter animals are from Alchemy of Art and the scraps for the bookmark base are from Lexi Design Cinnamon Christmas.  I cut the base with a sizzix tag die and then the animal image with the same die.  I stuck the top half of the image to the longer piece, making sure the glue was only at the top of the image.

Here's panda doing book duty.

So cute I made two more......

Falling Off The Christmas Wagon

Hello Nomad friends.   Whilst digging out my angel earlier I also spotted this hare die.  Bunnies and hares have a special place in my heart and I decided to go masculine and plaid and make a birthday card tag combo.

The grey plaid card is from Card Creations, and yes, it's that old!!!   But isn't it pretty.  I cut the sizzix hare from ex-beer box kraft and the moon is blue glitter card.  I used Stamplorations Luggage Tag die.

I was going for a standard 10cm x 15cm card, but mini-slimline seem to suit better.   Small is beautiful.

Angelic Giving

Hello Nomad friends

I've made a few tags this afternoon using scraps and dies

I used thin corrugated cardboard from the inside of the cat food box cut with a sizzix tag die and the sizzix angel was cut from a box that came bearing beer!!!   It was looking all environmentally friendly but couldn't resist adding a blue glitter layer cut with a studio light die.  A little stamped God Jul and a bit of twine and good to go.

So good I decided to make it a trio.

Blue and Brown and Motorbikes

Hello Nomad friends.  Is it only me or do you feel it is time to drink hot chocolate????   I made a masculine card today using some pretty papers from Scrap and Me.

I used two of the pattrened papers from the Something Else collection, partially fussy cutting around the motorbike.  I embossed part of the brown paper with a gemini embossing folder, die cut a tag and added stamping using various Kort og Godt stamps.  A blue star brad and done!!

Time Tag

Hello Nomad friends.  I've had fun making a giant tag this evening.  After midnight is always a fun time to craft.

I cut the tag using a stamplorations die from patterned paper from a simon says stamp kit.  I cut the marilyn photo and some pink card using Funky Fossil filmstrip die.  I've used some scraps of holographic heart card, some black negative cut leftovers and a white scrap for the tag which I stamped the sentiment on.  I found the perfect brad! and added some pink halfpearls.

Wooden Gnomes

Hello Nomad friends.  I hope you are having a lovely day.  I have made a few chrissymassy things today in between doing a few little jobs in the garden, so, all in all, a good and productive day.  Here's some little tags for some packages using some paper scraps cut with the wiggly circle die from Kort og Godt.

These are 7cm tags so cute but big enough to be able to write on LOL.  I have been chopping up this pink snowflake paper the last few days so I cut the bits I had left for 5 tags.  Then I found a bit of green with dots on it and a white back and used that behind.  I rattled through the white scraps and used a fancy spellbinders die to cut them into shape and stamp the Kort og Godt sentiment.  The gnomes are little wooden dudes I have had hanging around for a while.  Aren't they cute.  I finished with some red glittery twine.
