Scandi Bear

Hello Nomad friends.   Yeah! the weekend, and rolling towards month's end and the most Bootastic time of the year.  But first a little Christmas bear action.

I've used the BYSHC sketch and a scrap of card I stamped and embossed with lots of holiday words.  I used a lovely piece of burgundy patterned paper with gold foil detail for the second layer so decided to used a vellum layer on top so it wasn't totally hidden.  Die cut the bear and embossed with a scandi folder and cut a co-ordinating scandi border from white scraps.

Thanks for dropping by.  Hugz

Pink Christmas

Hello Nomad friends.  Another cold sunny day here in southern Norway.  I locked myself in the greenhouse and planted a few beans, peas and dhalia seeds in pots.   Hoping to get a quick start when spring arrives, but first, Christmas!!!!!   Gosh, the end of February and I nearly forgot Rudolf Days!!!!   I've gone pink and deers and a little bit squiffy.

I embossed a pink stripey card panel with sizzix ScandiKnit folder and smudged some pink ink.  I cut two sizzix deers from pink scraps and added some darker pink behind the die cut details.  The big sentiment is a Stamplorations die cut from dark pink holographic card.

Thanks for dropping by.  Hugz

Christmas Tree Squash

Hello Nomad friends.  I'm here with some inspiration for the Let's Squash It! Let's Make a Christmas Card challenge.

Yep, Christmas is coming so grab those embossing folders and make some easy cards with squashy WOW!  Here's mine and I've gone navy and white with lovely scandi texture....

I simply stamped Crafty Individuals Noel Border stamp with navy ink onto a white card panel.  Then I embossed with Sizzix Scandi Borders embossing folder and mounted the panel on a white card base.

You have until the end of the month to share your Christmas cards that include the use of at least one embossing folder.  There are some lovely makes in the linky already so hop over and take a look and leave a little love.  We all need a little love and you never know you could make someone's day so much better.

Thanks for dropping by. Hugz
