Panda Post

Hello Nomad friends.  I'm having an inspired day.  Had to play again with panda.  He's so adorbs.  Put him in a cut die cut envelope, cos who doesn't want an envelope filled with a panda!!!

I've used sizzix oriental elements for my cherry blossom branches, which I coloured with distress markers.  I then gave the background a watercolour wash, because who doesn't want blue skies on a spring day.  The envelope was cut using a Studio Light die and edged with gold sharpie.  Another Funky Fossil panda stamped and fussy cut and slipped into the envelope.  So cute!!  I used a piece of card to make a frame and popped it up for added dimension.

Beloved Panda

Hello Nomad friends.  Last of the month and still places I want to craft along with.  I love the Lunar New Year challenge and I've made this New Year card featuring beloved panda and his lotus flower parasol.

I used a Funky Fossil Bamboo stencil and gold embossing powder for the background.  I cut it with a stitch die and popped up the middle.  The panda is also Funky Fossil and I printed a sentiment on the computer and cut it out with a pretty die.

Hope you are having an awesome day.  Thanks for dropping by.  Hugz

Down by the Water a Whittle Hippo Stands

Hello Nomad friends.  Hope you had a wonderful weekend.  It's been sunny and springy, although we are still getting cold nights.  I've made another watery scene using brusho's to make the background.

I sprinkled turquoise and blue brusho's and spritzed with water.  I've used Poppystamps Twisted Tree Oval and Happy Whittle Hippo.  Isn't that hippo adorbs!!!

Otter Photobomb

Hello Nomad friends.  I've made a little watery project for the Poppystamps challenge using some very cute otters.

The background die is Poppystamps Lamplight Pathway, but I thought it made a good river.  The otters are from the Christmas Friends stamp set and the sentiment from memory Box Oceanside Typewriter sentiments.

Sweet Treats

Hello Nomad friends.  You can't go wrong with a basket of treats.  I've used scallop heart dies to cut the sides of this one inspired by Endless Passion Easter Scrap day 19.  I used some confirmation style dies and pretty flower paper from Lexi Home Sweet Home papers to make it girly.

It's quite a nice size and I added some kvikk lunsj for photo staging, but I am sure you could fill it with all sorts of goodies.

Bobbing Along

Hello Nomad friends.  My last rocker card kinda crashed and burned.  No idea why.  Must have been having a moment.  This one rocks!!!!   Inspired by Endless Passions easter scrap to make a boat card.  I have also had a request for a fishing card so maybe this cutie will be liked.

I used some Hunkydory papers and Joy Craft dies for the fisherman and fish.  The base is just a folded circle and a couple of triangle pieces for the sails.

On the backside I added 'the one that got away'.

It rocks!!!

Fridge Bunny, Bunny Fridge

Hello Nomad friends.  Always fun to make something other than a card and today I made a couple of egg shaped bunny themed fridge magnets.

I used Marianne Designs stitched dies for the rose gold mirror card bases.  The bunny is a Papirdesign die and the flowers were made using Spellbinders dies.  I added some clip art from P13 Forest Tea Party papers and the sentiments are Time for Tea printed sheets.  Then I added some thin adhesive magnet sheet to the backside.

Glamorous and Dramatic

Hello Nomad friends.  Happy Easter.  Hope you have chocolate eggs.  I settled for real ones from my own hens, but such pretty colours!!!   Despite having visitors I am carving out a few hours for myself for crafting.  Starting with another wedding card today.  This one is a bit more blingy and dramatic using a beautiful dark paper with spring flowers from Lexi Design Home Sweet Home.

I used Tonic pink glitter card and the bridal couple are a Marianne Designs die.

Eggs from my lovely hens.

Thanks for dropping by.  I hope to be back soon......   Hugz

Wedding Season

Hello Nomad friends.  Spring is a wonderful time for new beginnings and weddings are popular.  Always nice to have some cards in hand.  I've made this one with some Lexi Design papers from their Loft Christmas and Home Sweet Home papers.

The design with the ripped layer was inspired by Endless Passions Easter Scrap day 7 wedding LO.  I added some die cut hearts and wooden heart embellishments.

Windy Miller

Hello Nomad friends.  I hope you are having a fun and sunny Easter weekend.  It's lovely here in southern Norway.  The trees and bushes are bursting with leaves, the plum trees are flowering, and we are eating al fresco.  Delightful.  I am also trying to do some crafting.  The Norwegian groups and shops have a plethora of challenges on going and I am being so slowwwwww.  This one was made inspired by the Endless Passion Easter scrap, which closes Monday, and I am well behind.  You may have seen the birdhouse treats box I made a few days ago.  There is also a windmill challenge and I winged it a bit, resulting in a much smaller space for treats, but it's still pretty adorable........

Squuueeeee!   I think it needs a fence and some more flowers.  But isn't it cute.  I've used Lawn Fawn Tupils, Time for Tea windmill bits, a Poppystamp window and a flower brad so the sails go round and round.  Patterned paper by Craft Creations! and Kort og Godt.

Not so much room in this one but space for a twix, or maybe two, but one may have died in the making of this windmill........

You Sing It Son, I'll Play It

Hello Nomad friends.  I am over at the Lost Coast Portal to Creativity again with some more hatty fun.  I think hats are great, and I have a lot of stamps with images with hats, but if you don't, just add a hat to anyone or anything and join our Where's My Hat? challenge.

I started with a piece of Kort og Godt patterned card that had a subtle grid pattern and some blue dots on it.  I cut it with a pierced edge die and mounted on a mid blue card base.  I stamped one of Lost Coast Designs Pieces of Calligraphy stamps with blue ink and also the vertical Happy Birthday sentiment.  I stamped Carmen's Veranda Monkey With Banjo on white card, coloured with distress markers, fussy cut and added him to my card.

I hope you get time to join the Where's My Hat? fun.  We need at least 20 entries to award the prize so tell your friends and add your stamped makes featuring headgear to the linky.

Cowboy Hat

Hello Nomad friends.  Hope you are having a fun week. Today I am over on the Lost Coast Portal to Creativity with some classic headgear for the Where's My Hat? Challenge. I've used Carmen's Veranda Rocking Horse and Southwest Town to make a simple anyday cowboy scene.

I started with a kraft card base and stamped Southwest Town with brown ink.  Then I blended Fossilized Amber and Salty Ocean distress oxides to make the sand and the sky.  I stamped Rocking Horse on some light grey card, coloured with distress markers and fussy cut just the horse.  Removing the rocker gives it a whole different look and it looks great paired with the Southwest Town, which is one of my favourite Carmen's Veranda stamps.

Roof Problems

Hello Nomad friends.  Gosh, where have I been????   Sunny days have meant garden time, but today it's rainy so crafting I am.  I love this cute little bird house gift box, but I must admit to having challenges getting the roof to stay on.  Also managed to rip the roof off my big rabbit cage today (again), so must be a day for it.  The Mister will be unimpressed cos he only just reattached rabbit cage roof, but there ain't much wood left after woodlice incursions, so it wasn't really my fault.  Anyway, this project was inspired by Endless Passion's Easter scrap day 34 and it's pretty, adorable and quite easy, except for that roof thing, which I solved by using stickier glue......

Isn't it cute!!!   I used some embossed pearlescent card for the roof and ground and some wood patterned paper for the walls.  The butterflies are Memory Box Gloriosa Butterfly Duo dies and the flowers are Memory Box Marvelous Magnolia 3D Embossing Folder and Cutting Dies.  Thanks for those Linda.

and then it does this........

Space for snacks.  In this case choccies.

Where Did You Get That Hat???

Hello Nomad friends.  Gosh April!!   The most hoppiest month of the year.  Over at the Lost Coast Portal to Creativity the challenge for April is Where's My Hat?  We want to see your stamped anythings featuring headgear.  I had a look through my Lost Coast Designs stamps and found lots with hats!  Today I have used one of the images from Doodle Dolls 1 set, and I found she also featured on the Postage set, so I've made a slimline collage style birthday card.

I used archival ink in shades on blue and red and did some ink mixing on the stamps to give some variegated colours.  The background stamp is Lost Coast Designs PMC Circle Frame.  I used a die cut to make the oval frame and arranged the Postage stamps and Doodle Doll on it after I had stamped and fussy cut them.  I stamped the Happy Birthdays using Lost Coast Designs Party Words and die cut with a Waffle Flower die.

I hope you get time to join the Where's My Hat? fun.  We need at least 20 entries to award the prize so tell your friends and add your stamped hatty makes to the linky.

Hot Pink Full House

Hello Nomad friends.  It's the second of the month so time for the Card Chain Challenge Reveal.  I went a little wild this month and claiming another full house creation.  Seems like 2025 might be the year for it!!!!   So, the Card Chain Challenge!  Make a card, send a card, get a card.  Everyone gets a card, everyone is a winner!!!   I sent this pink fluffy slightly wild card to Hilary in the UK.   We both love the zebra!!

I went black and white plus pink and used the sketch.  I used a couple of different embossing folders from sizzix on the background and the front panel.  The leopard print felt is a do craft creation.  The zebra is a Catherine Pooler stamp and the hello is cut using Poppystamps Hello Background plate die.

If you would like to see all the awesome cards that were sent whizzing around the world in March, and why wouldn't you, you can check out the REVEAL.
