Elephant Travels (Updated)

Hello Nomad friends.  It's the second of the month so time for the Card Chain Challenge reveal.  Make a card, send a card, get a card.  Everyone gets a card, everyone wins!!!!!  I'm still waiting to hear if this has made it's way to Peggy in Maine.  I was a bit slow, sorry Peggy, but you can't rush an elephant you know.....

There are actually a couple of surprises with this card, but I want to leave a bit for Peggy to enjoy first hand, so I will add to this post when I know she has received it.  I've used my favourite Quarto fold and super cute Carmen's Veranda Baby Elephant.  Isn't it adorbs!!!!   The sentiment is from Lost Coast Designs Travel Quotes and tropical leaves are Sizzix die cuts from various green scraps.  I used the options of friendship and stamping this month.

Oh My!

Hello Nomad friends.  I am getting excited!!!!!!  I have almost used up all of these Tilda clip art pictures.  What an achievement!!!  An empty box!!!!!!  Almost.......

I spent some pleasant moments folding a quarto pocket from pretty patterned paper, this one is Hunkydory, and then added the two Tilda girls.  Oh my!!   Must be me, and my big sister, holding bunnies.  More my thing than hers, but isn't it fun to get together.  I also used a polka dot rosette from the Tilda set to help with the emptying of the box.  Soon, soon......

It's been a funny old day, oh my, Oh my!

Double Quarto

Hello Nomad friends.  Are you getting bored of my 'favourite fold of the moment'?  Well, I'm not.  A 20 x 20cm piece of patterned paper makes a pretty pentangular card that fits in a 15cm square envelope and it's perfect for a tag, gift card, or even a couple of tea bags.
Thanks for this new obsession Mrs A.
Today I made two!!!!!!

This one is for a friend.  All papers, dies, stamps and flowers from Papirdesigns.

The yellow scallop die cut circle is stamped with Hurrah, you have a birthday, and the blue one hidden behind the tea bags with lucky me to have a friend like you.  Love all those pretty butterflies.  This paper feels so fresh and summery.

Inside I used a couple of butterfly paper offcuts to make some corners and stamped the gift card for dinner at a restaurant.

I also made a Christmas card featuring snowmen.

Same fold and a couple of choco tea bags.

Pretty design with the snowmen on the front and the presents on the back.  I also had a clipart page with this 6 sheet set so I snipped out a snowman and added him to my card.  Fun and easy.

Parisian Wedding

Hello Nomad friends.  The weather has been lovely here in southern Norway so I have been out in the garden much.  Maybe yesterday was a bit too much sun so I decided to catch up on a little crafting this afternoon and go out in the garden again this evening.  The light evenings are so lovely.  This weekend there is another online meeting.  These have been wondrous and the Norwegian groups and shops have been fantastic keeping us entertained.

Here's my card.

Used that lovely Quarto Fold from Mrs A again for a wedding in Paris.....

I used Prima En Francais papers for the tag, tickets and folded pocket.  The Dear Bridal Couple die is from Kort og Godt.

Inside I used a couple more tickets from the Prima pad and I've added some fancy heart staple brad thingies that I've had forever and a day.......

A half folded card base and a little more of the Prima paper to finish the back.

Thanks for dropping by.  Have a wonderful Sunday.  HUGZ

Pentangle Delight

Hello Nomad friends.  I had a desire to do some fancy folding today so I popped over to Mrs A's Butterfly Challenge Blog.   Mrs A is on her second journey through the alphabet, with a different card fold for each letter.  It's actually an awesome resource, and many of the card fold have more than one version, all carefully explained with measurements and pictures.  Thanks so much for this Valery Anne.  I decided to try version III of the Quarto Fold card.

Isn't that a cool shape!!!

I started with a 20x20cm piece of Imaginise double sided paper and the final card will fit in a 15cm square envelope.  I cut blue paper with a Kort og Godt boy die.  The paper wasn't quite the colour or the weight I wanted so I cut the boy three times, glued them together and then used a Indigo Promarker to colour the top boy.  You can see the coloured and the uncoloured versions here.

I glued the boy, some wooden stars and a sentiment panel onto the folded pocket.  I also made a tag for the pocket.

I cut the tag from the same paper using Stamploration die and stamped a Kort og Godt with an encouraging message for the confirmant.

I folded a piece of Kort og Godt patterned card and added it to the back of the pocket.  The inside card has just a little blue tree branch detail on it and I stamped the sentiment, good luck for today and the future.

And here's the back of the card.  I used the same green lined paper to cover the top of the pentagon.   The blue is the back of the folded piece and I stamped the fabulous made by me stamp that Jo sent me for my birthday.  Thanks Jo.  It's so cool!!!!!
