Many Shades of Blue

Hello.  Welcome.  I was looking through some Rubber Dance stamps and came across this pretty little smile stamp.  Love this font.  Decided to make some ATC's to include in some happy mail.  Everyone needs a smile and a reminder that how you think can make a blue day happy.  Hugz

I used Sizzix ATC and Spellbinder Autumn Harvest Tag dies to cut my cardstock.   Then I stamped smile all over the ATC base and the sentiment on the tag.  I used Dare 2 B Artsy Midnight Blue ink and also edged and smudged everything with it.  Both Rubber Dance stamps are from the Think Again set.

Don't forget if you are shopping at Rubber Dance you can get free worldwide shipping with my code GTFreeShip when you spend over €15!

A Very Moosey Christmas

Hello.  Welcome.  Bright and sunny in the garden, christmas in the craft room.  Not much time to craft so keeping it clean and simple.

A little bit alternative, but moose are a popular item here in Norway.  I stamped the moose with black archival and masked.  Then I used Iced Spruce distress ink and the snowflake collage stamp and Blueprint Sketch for the sentiment.  All stamps are from Unity Winter Wild set.

Green Mojito

Hello.  Welcome.  So, Bear and Bird are chillin' at the beach when along comes this guy with half a coconut shell filled with green stuff with an umbrella in it!! Well, you just got to haven't you.......

I used Waffle Flower Stay Cool stamps.  The sun is from Rubber Dance.  I stamped Bear, masked, stamped the beach towel, sun and bird.  I used distress inks for the stamping and colouring.  Bear got a coat of clear wink, known to offer SPF50!!  Then I thought about the drink, so I stamped, coloured with Promarkers, fussy cut it and placed it close to paw.

Just Bearly

Hello.  Welcome.  Needed a graduation card so decided to use this fun bear from Sparkle and Sprinkle.

I liked Vicki's card where she used a bright patterned center panel and plain surround so I decided to stamp my bright red stitch die cut panel with the light bulb image from the Sprinkle and Sparkle Final Role Call set.  The bear is from the same set, stamped on patterned paper and fussy cut.  I used a gold mirror layer and a gold card base.  The 'mat' the bear is sitting on is the center piece from Poppystamps Button Oval Contour die cut from the same card as the base card.  I stamped the sentiment and inside I added another one that reads 'The Future is Bright'.

Playing in the Woad

Hello.  Welcome.  I played with Nancy the other day for the CC Designs Twinchie challenge and today Henry said it was his turn.

I stamped CC Designs Viking Henry on a scrap of white card, cut round the sword and his hand and used a Gummiapan 5cm (2") stitched die to cut out my twinchie.  I coloured him with distress inks and his sword with silver pilot marker.  I gave my twinchie a background wash with Stormy Sky distress ink and edged with black archival.

And cos a twinchie doesn't take long to make I also did this......

I used a orange base card and cut a blue scrap with Stamplorations medium Crazy Double Stitch Rectangle die and Poppystamps House in the Woods die.  I love this cute little wood and house collage but I always seem to end up vanishing the house....

I stamped Henry on a scrap of white card using black archival, coloured with distress inks and the silver plot marker again and fussy cut.

Big Hair, Big Teeth

Hello.  Welcome.  A couple of days ago I celebrated my summer birthday.  Me and the queen, we have two!  A real and an official.  I decided to make my second one a summer birthday cos I am solar powered!  I get so much more done on a sunny day.  Grey days find me quite un-energetic.  And in keeping with birthdays there was a whole slew of happy mail!!  I couldn't have timed it better, but since I have absolutely no control on when Postman Pat delivers my orders I suppose we should really chalk it up to happy coincidence!!  But don't you find happy mail always makes Mr Mojo stand up and dance??  If not you obviously aren't ordering the right stuff!!  One of the many amazing things I got was this beautiful Carabelle Studios Lion stamp.

Isn't he a hunk!!

Lion comes with three other stamps and I used the small concentric circle stamp, stamped and embosed with white powder and added colour with Shabby Shutters distress ink.  Then I cut with a sizzix circle die.

A white base card, Stormy Sky DI and a stamp from Rubber Dance Pine Fir Yew set, stamping repeatedly to get this furry sort of border.

I cut a larger circle using the Sizzix dies again and smeared it with Stormy Sky DI.  I cut Poppystamps Boddington Tree Cluster and coloured with Peeled Paint DI and glued the die cut and the two circles on my base card.

I stamped, embossed and fussy cut Carabelle Studios Lion and coloured him with the same distress inks I had already used and also a little Marigold and yellow.  And I have no idea what he is saying but I am sure it will come to me, in time......

Little Vikings

Hello.  Welcome.  CC Designs have a fun twinchies challenge.  A twinchie is a 2" square.  I love small art, but haven't made many of these.  But Viking Nancy wanted to play along......

I cut my twinchie using a Gummiapan stitched square die.  I stamped CC Designs Viking Nancy and coloured her with distress inks and my waterbrush.

Then I did this!!  I stamped Viking Nancy again and fussy cut around her hair and then used the die.  I coloured with distress inks again and then started thinking about squares....

I like making small art, but sometimes it's nice to be able to use it on a bigger project.  I used a Things to Alter MDF cut and a square hammered card base.  I think she looks perfect there.

Bunny Sweet

Hello.  Welcome.  I am in love with this cute bunny from PaperBabe Stamps!!   Not only is the bunny cute but he comes with a bitty small stamp to add his eye, nose, whiskers and toes.  In fact all the animals in this set come with extra stamps to add their features.  What a blast!!!

I made a mini-card.  Now, let's get this right!!  Stamp Paperbabe Whimsical Woodland Set 3 bunny and hedgie with brown archival, and add their features using black archival.  Mask and stamp Rubber Dance Whimsical Summer hill, mask, and tree.  Colour with Promarkers and admire!!

Sad Friends

Hello.  Welcome.  I needed a sympathy card for a friend and decided to use this geisha stamp from PaperBabes.  I've based my card on the PaperBabes sketch and gone super CAS.

Love this big beautiful PaperBabes MaryLeeDee Kimono clear stamp.  I stamped her on my white card panel with black archival.  Then I cut around each side of her head, inserted a Stamplorations Stitched Landscape die and embossed it.  The sentiment is from Unity.

Shooting Star Flowers

Hello.  Welcome.  Julie showed some beautiful cards for Stamplorations 5th Birthday celebration.  I was particularly taken by her die cut flowers with black and white polka dot background and decided to try to stamp something similar.

I masked either side of the card and stamped the daisy from Stamplorations Trendy Spring Blooms.  I masked the daisies and stamped Lost Coast Designs Shooting Star background.  I drew a line down each side of my stamped panel and coloured the center of the flowers using Promarkers.  The thanks is a Winnie and Walter die cut from black and orange card.
