Feeling Blessed

Hello Nomad friends.  Today the postal service was good for me!!   I got a card from my Card Chain Challenge friend Tina in Slovenia, a lovely package of goodies I won at the Snippets Playground, and a huge pack of goodies from my lovely friend Mia in Greece.  I felt the love and am so grateful for all my worldwide friends.  HUGZ

One of the things included in my package from Mia was a beautiful postcard with a lovely message on the back.  I was immediately inspired and have made an autumnal card.

I am impressed with myself that I was able to rip up this lovely postcard because I do have a box of collected postcards.  But I think it made a lovely bit of collage art.  I edged my base card with yellow distress ink and used a panel of white card and finger painted with water and distress inks to get my background. I did some off block stamping with a lavinia stamp to get the foliage and ripped around the edges and images on the postcard.  I added some spellbinder leaves die cut from gold mirror card and some sticker words from Papirdesign which say Harmony, Passion and Friendship.

Here's a pic of all the goodies Mia sent me as part of her name day celebration.  I am already working on ideas for a few more of these things Mia.  Thanks so much.

Thanks for dropping by.  Hugz

Fabulous Fall

Hello Nomad friends.  The month is galloping along at quite a clip and all the autumn jobs are keeping me busy.  Garden time when weather permits and inside trying to get control of my organised chaos when it gets too gloomy outside.  The nights are getting noticeably shorter and the mind turns to warm autumn colours and doing things I have been a bit slow at getting done.  Procrastination is my middle name!

Those colours do make you fell warm and cosy don't they!!

I used a leafy patterned paper from Michaels Stores and added a black die cut ballerina from Memory Box called Lady Dancing.  The leaves are Memory Box Gypsy Oak Leaves cut from copper mirri card.

Thanks for dropping by.  Hugz

Autumn Wishes

Hello.  Welcome.  The Fall Coffee Lovers Bloghop is running and the entries sure are pouring in.  If you have used stamping and numbers the Lost Coast Portal to Creativity has a numbers challenge running til the 25th of the month. This is my second entry for the Coffee Lovers hop using stamps from Unity and their fb challenge sketch.

I couldn't find a card base the colours I wanted, so used Dried Marigold and Worn Lipstick distress inks on a piece of cream textured card.  I embossed a piece of orange metal with Sixxix Leaves folder and die cut it using Taylored Expressions Frame In Frame 2 dies.  I stamped and coloured the Unity girl using promarkers and distress inks and stamped and embossed the sentiment on a piece of ribbon.

Thanks for dropping by.   Hugz
