Maybe Baby

Hello Nomad friends.

I used adorable scorable for my patterned panel and cut gold glitter foam with Memory Box Lisette Buckle die three times.  I added a piece of teal organza ribbon and arranged the buckles on it.  Then I cut Memory Box Precious Mobile from white card.

Pretty in Pink

Hello Nomad friends.  Tis confirmation season soon again here in Norway.   I made my own background for this one with some string block stamping and some fun stamps from Funky Fossil Dream Whale set.

The violin player silhouette is a Paper Discovery die and the girl is a Kort og Godt stamp.  I added some window frames cut using a die from Poppystamps Corner Shoppe Pop Up Easel Set for interest and added texture.

Camel Scrap

Hello Nomad friends.  It's been busy in the garden.  Sunny days have turned to drizzle and a cold wind, but hoping the sun will come through a bit later.   In the mean time I have taken myself off to the desert with some scraps and this awesomely cute camel die from Gummiapan.

I used a blue card base and stencilled with Aall and Create broken circle stencil and blue distress ink. I cut the Gummiapan sun and camel from scraps of yellow and beer packaging.  The yellow circle offcut was stencilled with yellow ink and another aall and create stencil, friendly avenue.  The palm trees were cut using a sizzix die from green card and I added a little promarker brown to the stems.

Hello Nomad friends.  I hope you are having a wonderful weekend.  Spring may have sprung with April showers and flowers.  I've made a simple tag featuring a GNOME with a tulip for the Anything Gnome Challenge at the Lost Coast Portal to Creativity.  I love tulips, and the deers think they are very tasty as well...........

This is Lost Coast Designs Tulip Gnome.  Isn't he adorbs!!!   I cut my tag with a Stamplorations Stitched Tag die and then stamped the gnome and sentiment.  Added some distress marker colour and a bit of bobbly wool and done!

Grab your gnomes and get stamping!!  You have all month to share your stamped anythings featuring GNOMES!!  Real rubber or clear stamping and the theme must be the focus of your project and we need at least 20 entries to award the prize.

Gnome For Christmas

Hello Nomad friends.  Lots of gnomes and Christmas here this month with Lost Coast Designs wanting anything Gnome related and Me also elfing out at the Christmas Kickstart Challenge with all things Hat.   I've gone shaped card and simple and Christmas with mini Pompom Gnome and his Mushroom House.

I do like this Kort og Godt wiggly circle die and it's a nice big layered set so great for fun card bases.  I found a bit of card already smooched with distress ink that seemed a perfect scrap background for my green and gold 'shroom house.  The house and the gnome were both stamped on white card scraps, coloured with distress markers and fussy cut.   To finish I stamped the Happy Christmas directly on the background.

Hope you get some time to get gnomey and/or hatty.  You have all month to share your stamped anythings featuring GNOMES at the Lost Coast Portal to Creativity, and all month to share your hatty Christmas cards at the Christmas Kickstart Challenge!!  Thanks for dropping by.  Hugz

In Perspective

Hello Nomad friends.  Today I am over at the Lost Coast Portal to Creativity with more Gnome fun.

I made a tag using Lost Coast Designs Coffee Gnome, ATC Perspective and Pieces of Calligraphy with Carmen's Veranda Coffee Vs Challenges sentiment.
I started with a piece of card that had a ray pattern on it and cut it with Daisy Mae tag die.  Then I smeared the edges with yellow archival ink and stamped some of the Pieces of Calligraphy stamps with the same ink to add some texture.  I stamped the ATC Perspective with brown archival ink and the sentiment with black archival ink. I stamped Coffee Gnome on white card, coloured with distress markers, fussy cut and added him to the tag.  I found some curious bobbly lace for my tag tie.
Hope you like my gnomey tag.  You have all month to share your stamped anythings featuring GNOMES!!  Real rubber or clear stamping and the theme must be the focus of your project and we need at least 20 entries to award the prize.

Brimming With Style

Hello Nomad friends.  It's the first Tuesday of the month, and what a glorious day it is today.  It is also time for the start of the April Christmas Kickstart Challenge and this month the theme is Brimming With Style.  Sorry, no drinks involved LOL.  We want to see HATS on your Christmas card creations.  Hats on Santa, hats on gnomes, hats on cats, hats on bats.....  OK, maybe not too many Christmas bats, but you never know.   I am very honoured to have been asked to Elf-out this month, so here's my inspiration to help get you started.  I went with a hatted bear in a Christmas tree forest.

Isn't he rather adorable!!  I used Creative Expressions Wrapped Up stamp set, which I actually won at Christmas Kickstart Challenge many moons ago.  About time I stamped it out.  I started with a piece of Marianne Designs woodgrain paper, which, like many of my genius design ideas, was handily lying on my desk.  Looks wintery me thinks.  I stamped the sentiment, then the trees, and gave them a bit of scribbly distress marker colour.  I stamped the bear on a piece of white card, coloured and fussy cut.  Doesn't he look grand and happy in his little forest.  I added some glitter to the base of the trees and the stars cos glitter is always in fashion.

Jo gave me my own special hat to elf-out in!!  Fabulous.  Love the built in ears.  Off to the shops soon.

I hope you get time to make a card or two, if Christmas is your thing, and if you happen to be stamping gnomes the Lost Coast Portal to Creativity would also love to see them.

Thanks for dropping by.  Hugz
