Beer Box Bunnies

Hello Nomad friends.   Clocks forward an hour in Europe today leaving us owls way behind.  So here's a bunch of bunnies to brighten a grey short day.

Staring at the double-sided patterned card I used for my card base I finally decided it came from The Works.  I used a scrap of greenish card cut with Mama Elephant grass die and smooched with Mowed Lawn distress ink for the ground.  The bunnies are all cut from ex-beer box, and hoping my beer loving friend pays us a visit over Easter and brings me a new box, cos this one is disappearing fast.  I actually used three different bunny dies (you don't say!!) from two different manufacturers and three different sets.  Mix and match at it's finest!!  Mummy bunny with the egg is Nellie Snellen Easter bunny.  I added a little promarker detail and paper pieced a few more scraps in for the egg and flower.  Bunny on the left is from sizzix Nature Friends set, and bunny on the right from sizzix Quirky Animals.

For a change I did a little inside management with the other half of the grass cut scrap and a writing field cut with Kort og Godt wonky circle.

Lamby

Hello Nomad friends.  Finally, I have used these dies that I have had for ages.  What a cute result.  Might have to crank my die cutting arm into mass production.  I think a herd of these would be delightful.

I used Creative Craft Products Easter Lamb Egg Holder dies.

Pop Up Egg

Hello Nomad friends.  I am having a creative day.  I was actually playing with Alice the other day, along with the queen of hearts, but the idea has progressed, and I gotta say I love the result!!!!

I had so much fun with this!!!    After all these years I still don't have a huge egg shaped die so I hand cut the egg shaped card.  Please excuse the wobbly edges.  The scene got built around Paper Nest Dolls Alice who was stamped on white card, coloured with distress markers and fussy cut.  I used a piece of UHK Gallery patterned paper for the egg layer then scraps of patterned and plain card for my scene details.  I used Poppystamps Whittle Field and Tree die for the trees and the field, Poppystamps Leaping Little Bunnies dies for the little bunnies, and Poppystamps Echo Blossom dies for the clouds.  Hey, it's wonderland!!!   We can have flower shaped patterned paper clouds if we want.

Then I truly had a moment and turned it into an easel card, which made it perfectly wonderful!!

Who Needs Business Cards When You Can Have Kvikk Lunsj

Hello Nomad friends.  I'm trying to play along with Endless Passion's Easter Scrap event.  They are on day 25 and I am a bit behind bwahhahaahaaa.  Iwona is doing video tutorials every day for some very fun projects.  The other day she made a cute little two sided box for business cards, but I had a another idea.

This is a really simple make but you get a lovely sturdy two sided box.  I went all spring flowers and bunnies!!!!

Both sides look fairly the same.  I used a Marianne Designs oval die for the ends for that easter egg feel.  Bunny by sizzix.  Grass and tulips by Lawn Fawn.  Pretty patterned paper from the Works.  Big layered flower on the ends made with Spellbinders dies.

So I'm looking at it and I'm thinking that's the perfect size for

kvikk lunsj!!!!
That'll be kit kat for the brits.  I think I could easily fit 6 4 finger bars in this cute little box.  I only had two in hand.......
Kvikk Lunsj is an easter tradition in Norway.

Everything You Need Except Vitamin C

Hello Nomad friends.  Well, I'm off to a brisk start this morning which is highly unusual for me!!   Even the hens fell off their perch when the breakfast bell rang early.   It's a bit of a wet and grey Maundy Thursday so now my little darlings are all fed and watered I will be making my self cosy in my crafty space.  But first a little decoupage......

The egg with flowers is printed so I just needed to clippy clippy.  I added the mini magnolia bunny suit girl cos she was lurking with intent.  I was aiming for damson with my card base and added two panels cut with an ATC die.  I diecut some diamonds into the top one and added fussy cut butterflies and rhinestones to both.

Dimension shot.  The egg is actually flat!!   Wish I could colour like that........
Little bunny girl is perched on the first layer.

Basket Of Eggs

Hello Nomad friends.  Easter is coming!!   I have my doubts about Spring at the moment, but Easter is a certainty, although it always confuses me!!   If Jesus was born on the 25th December every year how come the day of his death can be anywhen from mid-March to mid-April?   Wouldn't it be easier for everyone if they just picked a day??  They seem to be very good at picking a day for so many things......

Anyway, I made a basket of eggs card using Paper Rose products.  Love this Australian company.  They have so many unique and lovely designs.  I have a modest stash of their products and decided to use the Circlet Layered Background 1 die to make the basket shape.

I cut Paper Rose Circlet Layered Background 1 die from green bazzill bling card and paper pieced the negative cuts back in after cutting away parts of the circlet die to make the basket shape. The bazzill bling had a nice contrast between the front and back colour so very little waste here today!   I used sheets from Paper Rose Easter Sunday 6 x 6 paper collection for the background pieces and the eggs and Happy Easter were fussy cut from other sheets in the collection.  Adorbs.

In case you are interested this is the circlet die I used.

Thanks for dropping by.  Take care.  Hugz
