31 Days of Halloween Day 4 - Long Tall Mummy

Hello Nomad friends.  I hope your October is off to a spooktastic start.  I am posting something Halloweeny every day this month.  I have also been sorting the crafty space and checking out some of those dusty corners and cobweb festooned shelves discovering UFO's and ancient designer papers.  So here is today's offering.  Mummy is gathering in the harvest.

I've made a few cards with this Sizzix movable Mummy die.  I've never seen it anywhere else, but I have fun making different scenes with it.  It's been a while since Mummy was last out of the tomb.....

There he is, already cut and bradded together, lounging around in the die cut UFO drawer.....

Found this ye olde ancient Authentique 30x30 paper and was particularly taken by the top RHS corner.

I used a DL card base and cut a piece of the Authentique paper, distressed the edges with knife and ink and added it to the card base.  It took a while to find a pumpkin for Mummy to hold but eventually I stumbled on these MME chipboards.  Now the real fun thing about mummy is........

Watch out Mummy you almost dropped Pumpkin!!!

Whoopsie!  To much left hand down!!!!!!

Me thinks Mummy may have been in the apple cider!!!

Of course, the big question is....... why do we call them Mummies, when most of them were blokes? or cats? with the occassional hippopotomus!!!!

Thanks for dropping by.  Hugz
