This is so Me

Hello.  Welcome.  I got some new stamps from Rubber Dance today.  A sentiment on the African Animals set just jumped out at me.  I also saw a sketch I liked over at ODBD and the Cheery Lynn challenge is black and orange.  It all went together like this......

I started by stamping the happy happy birthday sentiment from Rubber Dance Happy Birthday set using Butternut fresco finish paint on a black card base.

I cut Cheery Lynn Eloise Elephant from a piece of card I had previously painted.  I used the same card to stamp and emboss the sentiment from Rubber Dance African Animals.

Great stamping in the background! Stamping with paint is not easy, words especially, but on a black background it's the only way... The elephant is gorgeous and the card he was die-cut from is perfect for it. Thanks for showing us at Vintage Stamping Challenges.
