Way Down South

Hello Nomad friends.  It's the second of the month so time for the Card Chain Challenge Reveal.  Make a card, send a card, get a card.  Everyone gets a card, everyone is a winner!!!  32 cardmakers joined us in June sending love and joy and awesome cards winging their way around the planet.  If you like sending and receiving real handmade cards this is the place to be.  We had one new player this month, Dagmara from Poland, which is always fabulous.  Dagmara also gave us another new country for our list!!   We are working on global coverage and our chain of crafty love spreads ever wider this month.

My card went to Chris in Illinois, USA.

I used the colour option (exact matching not required LOL), the themes of circles and friendship and the technique stitches.  You only ever need to use one of the challenge options, but it's nice to try and incorporate a few.  I cut my slimline panels with Time For Tea Slimline Scalloped Trio Circle Nesting dies and used Hero Arts Bandicoot & Friends Stamp set for those cute animals and punny sentiments.  I just had to have this set of Antipodean animals.  I think they have such interesting wildlife in the south.  Maybe they think the same about the ones around here that I take for granted.  Don't take wild life for granted.  They are precious.  I wanted this to look even more sunny so I used the small rays stamps from Hero Arts Egg-cellent! stamp set in the circles behind the animals.

If you would like to join probably the longest running card exchange in the universe you can

Don't forget to hop over and check out the REVEAL and all the awesome cards that winged their merry way around the planet.

Thanks for dropping by.  Hugz

Awesome card Gail - you have my favourite animal the wombat on there, which you don't often see on a card! Koalas and roos are definitely more common, but wombats are way cooler - they have square/cubed poo! As an Aussie living in the States quite a few years ago, that fact always received a very strange look! :)
