This Is Me, Coming To You, Across the Miles

Hello Nomad friends.  The second of the month so time for the Card Chain Challenge reveal.  Wot Dat??  Where U Bean????  The Card Chain Challenge is an international card exchange I help run.  Make a card, send a card, get a card.  Everyone gets a card.  We are all winners!!!!  Yeah!!!!  This month I made my card using Rubber Dance stamps and it's winging it's way to LaVon in Illinois.

I started with a patterned card base.  I stamped all over with the thin pointy leaf from Rubber Dance Things With Wings using Taylored Expression Cookie Monster ink.  I stamped the girl on a scrap of pink pearlescent paper and a scrap of yellow vellum.  I fussy cut the girl and then just her hair from the yellow vellum, layered them together and added a little green gel pen colour to her eyes.  I used black archival to stamp the lovely Rubber Dance sentiment.

Check out all the awesome cards that whizzed, limped, swam (we hope not so much), and flew around the planet this month.  So many amazing artists in this exchange.  Want to join the fun??  Sign up for August now!

Thanks for dropping by.  Hugz

We Love Chocolate Baroque August Favourite Stamps Challenge love these girl stamps from Rubber Dance.  There are two sets and the images and sentiments work so well together.

  5. What a contrast from your other entry Gail, but equally lovely, many thanks for sharing more 'Favourite Stamps' with us at We Love Chocolate Baroque August challenge. As I was discussing yesterday with one of our DT's how on earth can we choose a favourite when we have so many choices.

  6. Love that background and those amazing green eyes. How clever to make the hair from vellum and I bet the pearlescent face adds something special in real life xx
