Hello Nomad friends. I made a card using Stamplorations Retro Stencil and Salty Ocean distress oxide the other day. Thrifty crafter said don't waste that ink on that stencil, so I sprayed the inky stencil with water, turned it over on a black base card, put a heavy weight on it and went to bed. Was very pleased with the result when I turned it over the next day. Then I saw 52 Weeks to Christmas challenge and decided to play bingo with it.
Square card base, rectangle stencil so I smeared the 'unstencilled' areas with Salty Ocean distress oxide. You can clearly see the difference between the activated oxidised ink and the fresh ink. I cut Stamplorations deer from blue card, inked it with Promarkers to add some texture and added a swoosh of glitter glue. Then I cut Papirdesigns God Jul (Merry Christmas) from blue card and added glitter glue for that extra Christmas bling.
Thanks for dropping by. Hugz
