Merry Elf

Hello.  Welcome.  Gosh, December!  Doesn't time just fly by.  Time for a new challenge at the Lost Coast Portal to Creativity and it's use real stamping for the theme of
In The Deep Midwinter.
I decided to make a tag with this fun Elf With Star from Carmen's Veranda.

I started by cutting my tag from a piece of Kort og Godt patterned paper.  I embossed the elf's star and Lost Coast Designs Small Snowflake set with brass embossing powder.  Love these snowflakes!  They say every snowflake is different and this set comes with 8 different ones, so I used them all!!!

I gave the top part of the tag a watercolour wash with Stormy Sky distress ink and then edged the tag and smeared more of the Stormy Sky around to add texture and contrast.  I added silver Sparkle Medium, which is a glitter paste, to the base of the tag.

I stamped Carmen's Veranda Elf With Star, coloured with Promarkers and fussy cut.  I added some of the sparkle medium to his hat and shoulders so he looks a bit snowed on.  He's such a fun stamp!!  A bit of vellum and some twine and done!!

These Black Friday deals that I mentioned yesterday are still on so don't forget to check them out if you haven't spent your crafty budget already.  Oooh, it's a new month!!!!  Maybe you have a new budget ROFL.
