Year of the Fire Dragon

Hello.  Welcome.  A few weeks ago I made a faux-stained glass project which I loved.  So I was delighted to see Archiscraps and CAS Mix Up challenges wanting to see that technique.  Then I spotted the Less Is More Horoscope challenge and decided I had to go Stained Glass Year of the Fire Dragon!!!

Isn't he gorgeous!!  I've used part of Lost Coast Designs Shooting Star Background, the bit with the dragon LOL, and stamped on acetate using black Staz-on.  Then I coloured on the backside with Sharpies.

I cut a white frame using Sizzix Double Stitch Rectangle and mounted on a white card base.

Thanks for dropping by.  Hugz

  3. So striking Gail! You’ve got such a good dense black on the acetate and the primary colours really pop against it with the broad white borders making a perfect setting, love it!
