Hello. Welcome. Been meaning to join the CAS Christmas challenge where they have the theme of Deer and they are also celebrating their first birthday. So Happy Birthday and Merry Christmas everyone........
You won't believe how long it took to find the right shade of green for my white space!!! I used gold mirror card, Sizzix Dashing Deer die and part of one of the Sizzix Holiday Knit embossing folders, and my green base card of course. Me thinks this might be a good one for the boys.
And don't forget to link up your Moves On Hooves entries to the Christmas Kickstart Challenge where I am one of the Guest Elves this fortnight. There is also a chance to win a Christmas Cow stamp thanks to the challenge sponsor, Rubber Dance Stamps.
Thanks for dropping by. Hugz

Beautiful gold reindeer - and you did find the perfect shade of green! Thanks so much for joining us at CAS Christmas!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful elegant card Gail. Love the gold foil paper with the deep hunter green card base. The dry embossed strip adds lots of texture. Fabulous design! Thanks for sharing with us at CAS Christmas!
ReplyDelete"I'll just make a quick card", me thinks to myself. Two hours later I have turned the workspace upside down looking for that piece I know I have - somewhere...."forget it and use something else". Find it two hours later!
ReplyDeleteYour card is super. Thanks for sharing your inventiveness with us again at Unstampabelles.
Bwahahaahahaahaaaaha. Glad it's not only me. Hugz

ReplyDeleteYour card us gorgeous, Gail! And what a regal deer. On a more technical note, I find it fun that white space can be any color you choose!

ReplyDeleteYou are not alone in your quest for the perfect shade! (or embellishment etc) I think most of us have been there. Thanks for sharing your fab card with us at Unstampabelles.

ReplyDeleteThis is super. The gold against the green is a wonderful combination - worth your effort in finding the right background. Thank you for joining in at CHNC with the Anything Christmas Goes Challenge with an optional twist of Inspired By Christmas Song or Carol. Apologies for the late comment.
