Lost Coast Designs Fridafest Blog Hop - Day 1

Hello.  Welcome.   Have you seen the amazing Frida Kahlo Stamps in the Lost Coast Designs Shop??  Linda has now added 4 new designs so we decided to showcase these beauties with two days of blog hopping.

Hop around and leave some love here and on all the team's blogs for a chance to win $10 to spend at Lost Coast Designs and/or Carmen's VerandaWe will be back again tomorrow with some more inspiration. The more comments you leave the better chance you have to win a prize!

For another chance to win you can share up your Frida Kahlo inspired projects. If you need some inspiration check out the wiki link above, or the teams makes of course!!
Your project can include a Frida Kahlo image, or be inspired by anything associated with her, but please explain your inspiration if it isn't obvious and don't forget that we need to see the use of real rubber or clear stamps.  Please don't forget to tell us the maker of your stamps and those using Lost Coast Designs and/or Carmen's Veranda stamps will get an extra chance at the random draw.

I used the new Floral Frida stamp to make my card.

I stamped Lost Coast Designs Scarves Background and divided it into three panels.  I stamped Carmen's Veranda Art Wings To Fly sentiment and used a stitch die to cut it.  I stamped Floral Frida, fussy cut her and added her to the card.
My card layout was inspired by this card by Judy.  I did all my stamping using Versaclair Nocturne ink on white card with dark blue card mats.

Here's the hop list

Cathy

Gail - you are here

Thanks for dropping by and good luck.  Don't forget to leave a comment for your chance to win.  Hugz

What a fabulous composition! I really like the way you paired the bright colors in the background with the black and white imagery. This has so much visual interest and I'm grateful that you shared your talents with us for this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!
