Hookah Fun

Hello Nomad friends.  Last week I had a bit of a clear out.  I chucked stuff out until the wheelie bin was full.  So when I was throwing away some left overs the other day and I discovered an extra gold covered cake base that only had a little strawberry jelly on it I decided if I was keeping it I had to use it!!  I washed off the bit of sticky and it dried mostly OK so I made this........

Here's the rescued item.  A bit wrinkled at 4 o'clock but we are cutting that off so no worries.

I used two stitched dies, one square and one hexagonal to cut the wine bottle tag.  Then I used a small hexagonal die to cut the hole.  On reflection I should have used a circle, but difficult to put it back now LOL.

I stamped Visible Image Caterpillar and Mushroom, coloured with distress inks and fussy cut them.  I also added a bow with a bit of matching ribbon.  Done!!!!

Thanks for visiting.  Hugz

It is beautiful and made me smile too! That image is so fun and in those fresh colours it pops so good! Great that you recycled the box! And good to see your work in the TIME OUT gallery!
