Delicate Flower

Hello Nomad friends.  Pink is not a go to colour for me but I think I quite like this combo of pink and pink on pink.

I wanted a one layer card so I started by cutting my pink card base with Simon Says Stamp Stitched Rectangle die.  Then I stamped Gummiapan's Grid with Picked Raspberry DOx.  I tried to leave some areas of the stamp un-inked to make it more arty LOL.  I used Clearly Besotted Brushed Butterfly stamps.  This is a layering stamp.  I've never used one before, and it isn't perfect, but it is pretty and fun.  I stamped the butterfly with Picked Raspberry DOx and distress and then finished by stamping the detail in black. I stamped the sentiment from the butterfly set with distress and also the flower, whiich is another Gummiapan stamp.

Thanks for dropping by.  Hugz

You are right-pink on pink on pink does look good! And I think you got the arty feel with this. You did a great stamp layering and think outlining the butterfly with black was the perfect touch. Thanks for leaving such a lovely comment on our blog and always fab to see you at Time Out x

Well I think you should use Pink more often, this is fantastic!! This is such a cool design, I would never think to use geometric and butterflies together but you make them work. The different shades of pink also add to the interest. Its a brilliant card and I'm so glad you shared it with us at TIME OUT!
