Hello Nomad friends. 15th of the month and a new challenge at the Lost Coast Portal to Creativity. The theme is Wood. Link up your stamped makes on wood substrates, featuring things made of wood, trees, add some wood embellishments, just don't forget real stamping must be the focus of your project for a chance to win the coveted Lost Coast Design dollars!!! I've paired Lost Coast Designs Trees Background with Carri's Menagerie large Moose to make this fun scene.
This moose just cracks me up!! He looks so anxious. Maybe he afraid of the spooky woods. Maybe it's been a bad night. But don't worry Moosey, dawn is breaking!!
I made my sunrise by roughly finger painting with Mustard, Persimmon and Festive Berries distress ink onto some grey wood grain card. Then I stamped the Trees Background using Watering Can distress ink to give a paler shade of black. I stamped the large Moose with black archival, used a white gel pen on his white bits, edged the panel and smudged a bit more black under his feet, then added a red mat and a black card base. Actually quite in love with this. Could be a great hello card, or sorry, or sympathy, or thinking of you. He's definitely thinking hard about something. Maybe a good masculine make too, for those woodsmen among us.
Thanks for dropping by. You have until the end of the month to link up your stamped wood themed makes for a chance to win. Do hop over to the blog and check out the other amazing projects made by my teamies. See you there. Hugz
