Winter Princess

Hello.  Welcome.  Happy New Year everyone.   I hope you have had a wonderful Christmas and New Year celebration with good food, good company and time to rest, relax and refresh.  So here we are, a new year, new chances and new optimism.   May 2019 be an awesome year for us all.  That said, I am creeping into the final hours of the Marianne Design challenge using a fun new to me Snoesjes stamp.

The Marianne Design challenge is a colour board and I'm quite pleased with the final look of this card which I made to give to a friend with a little gift.  I started with a blue piece of MD patterned paper and one of my favourite MD embossing folders that also cuts those little details.  I mounted the embossed panel on a pale blue base card and smeared Stormy Sky distress ink to highlight the texture.  I cut the MD Pine Bough from green card and added them.  I stamped the girl and used Promarkers to colour her.  Then I fussy cut, added some glitter to her hair and a little blue heart that was given to me by a friend.

Thanks for dropping by.  Hugz
