Just a Little Fishy

Hello.  Welcome.  The wind is blowing the rain is raining and I am getting a little inky.  Hee hee.  Best way to spend a yukky afternoon.  As I have said next month is a big birthday month for the family so I am trying to get ahead, a very rare occurrence for me!!  I am sure I will get complaints from tropical fish experts about my fishy colours.  Especially from the young experts!   I will just plead artistic license.....

I

I have used Distress Inks and an acrylic block to make my background.  I've used at least 10 different colours for this project so I'm not going to list them all.  I used a Hero Art stamp to make the frame.  Wasn't sure if it was a tree, but decided in the interests of this project it was coral and stamped all around the edge in Marigold and Worn Lipstick DI.  Then I used Salty Ocean and The Crafters Workshop Mini Numerals stencil.  Then Seedless Preseves all around the edge.

The fish and the sentiment are both Hero Arts stamps.  I stamped with black archival on white card and fussy cut.  The fish were coloured with Sharpies and the sentiment with DI Seedless Preserves and Dusty Concord.  The middle fish at the bottom is mounted on foam pads.  Doesn't really show in the photo but looks quite good in the real.
