Let's Talk Ammonite

Hello Nomad friends.  We had three days of record heat and then it started raining like Noah had built an ark.  Not enjoying being so wet, especially when wobbling around in the chicken garden where it has become unpleasantly yukky.  We are hoping for it to dry up a little at the weekend.  Of course rainy days gives me a good excuse to repair to the crafty room and play with some goodies.  Funky Fossil want to see NBUS this month so I decided it was time to use this gorgeous Ammonite embossing folder on patterned paper for a fun effect.

I inked the embossing folder with black ink and embossed a very bright piece of Funky Fossil Good Vibes paper.  I stamped the wine bottle sand sentiment from FF Fine Wine stamp set coloured and fussy cut.

Thanks for dropping by. Hugz

That background is so neat! I need to do more with embossing folders.

A super fusion of colours Gail, thanks for sharing another at Allsorts.

Can identify with the chicken issue, spent an hour searching for one yesterday, rather thinking the Fox has been in action again.

I love the effect you got by adding ink to the embossing folder, Iona. It makes the image stand out more on that fabulous DSP. The sentiment is worthy of a chuckle. Thanks for sharing your card with us at Time Out.
