A Collage of Blokes and Black Friday Deals

Hello Nomad friends.  I am back from my annual trip to the old country and I think Mr Mojo is still in the holiday mood cos it was a bit of a slow start with this project.  I knew I wanted to use Carmen's Veranda Salvador Dali stamp, and that gave me the idea to go bit crazy.  So I just grabbed a whole slew of stamps and made a masculine themed collage.

Crazy eh???  I used Carmen's Veranda Salvador Dali and Hourglass stamp and Lost Cost Designs Weeping Man, chief from Mayan Heiroglphs, Mayan Stele and Magic stamps.  I coloured with Promarkers and Brusho powder's in water.
Hop over to the Lost Coast Portal to Creativity for all the details.

Two Reindeer are Better Than None

Hello Nomad friends.  I've made a tag using Brusho's and Rubber Dance Textured House stamps.

I was inspired by Kim's tag from Day 3 of the 25 Days of Christmas tags event.  I made a brusho background and watercoloured the houses using diluted brusho colours.

Hop over to the Colourcraft Blog for all the details.

Show Us Your Santas

Hello.  Welcome.  I am proud to be guest elfing again for the wonderful Dotty Pudding over at the Christmas Kickstart Challenge.  This fortnight we want you to Show Us Your Santas.  Here's mine......

This fab stamp is from Stampendous and it's called Postcard Santa.  I simply stamped it on some postmark printed kraft cardstock with black archival then restamped the santa on white cardstock.  I coloured him with Promarkers, gel pens and distress inks, added some glitter glue details and fussy cut him.  Then I added him to the card.

Don't forget to join the fun and add a few more cards to the xmas card pile.

Fall Frolics

Hello Nomad friends.  I've made a fun Autumn card with colours supplied by Brusho Powders.  I know many of you have tried Brusho's.  Have you tried watercolouring with them??  Love the brightness and clarity of these colours.

I used the sprinkle spritz method with Leaf Green, Emerald and Sea Green Brusho's for the base card and smooched with Scarlet and Orange Brusho powders for the Poppystamps Boddington Tree Clusters.  Then I used Scarlet, Turquoise, Emerald, Rose Pink and Black Brusho powders to colour Simon Says Stamp Chillin' Frenchie stamp.  I know, too cute!!!   The sentiment, which seems to fit a dog's life perfectly, is from Lost Coast Designs Travel Quotes rubber stamp set.

Try everything once
Then try it again
Somewhere else

Yeh, yeh, yeh, yeh, yeh!!

Bear Tags

Hello.  Welcome.  Missed out on colouring yesterday so settled down tonight with these easy bears.

I was inspired by (IB) Carly's tags on Day 2 of the The 25 Days of Christmas Tags 2019.  I used the bear from The Greeting Farms Let It Snow stamp set, stamped, coloured with Promarkers and fussy cut.  I added some gold and white twine loops.

Snowglobe Tag

Hello.  Welcome.  Enjoying the shaped tags over at the 25 Days of Christmas Tags.  I liked Tatiana's snowglobe tags on Day 3.  I didn't have a suitable die so I used Winnie and Walters Snowy Holiday stamps.

I stamped santa and masked him.  I stamped the deer and masked.  Then I stamped the snowglobe and sentiment.  I coloured with Promarkers and fussy cut.  I punched a hole and added some twine.

She Likes Coffee

Hello.  Welcome.  Back with another card using the Paperbabes sketch.  I reversed it for this card.

I used a patterned paper card base.  I added a strip of yellow paper I stamped with Lost Coast Designs Seedpod Background stamp and embossed with Emerald Creek Gold Sparkle powder.  The red circles are Lost Coast Design PMC Circle Frame and the sweet little old lady is Lost Coast Designs Coffee, stamped, coloured with gel pens and metallic pencils and fussy cut.  The sentiment is from Carmen's Veranda.

Red Snow

Hello.  Welcome.  Paperbabes have a lovely sketch this fortnight and I used it to design this card.

I've used Teresa Collins patterned paper for all the layers.  The curious little snowman dude in the teacup is a Tilda precut image.  I added a polkadot rosette behind him.  I stamped the God Jul (norwegian merry christmas greeting) from Kort Hobby with black ink and didn't like it!!!  So I added some irridescent glitter glue, which became a pleasing shade of green on the black ink.  A save!!!

Coffee and Donut

Hello.  Welcome.  Couldn't resist these so cute Chillin' Frenchies from Simon Says Stamp.  Hoping that they will also go as Bosties LOL.  Coloured this one to look a bit like my nephew's Bostie.  Went with autumn colours.  He looks like he has had a fabulous run and is now relaxing with a well deserved snack.  I am sure this rest won't last long.  Bosties are energetic little things.

Loved that this little dude had a coffee cup by him.  I stamped Simon Says Stamp Frenchie on grey woodgrain card, coloured with distress markers and fussy cut.  I used a orange marble effect base card and die cut Poppystamps Diamond Background from red card.  I cut the leaf using a Spellbinders die and inked the edges with red distress ink.  I stamped the sentiment from Joy Clair Coffee Lovers set.  Cute, or what??

Christmas PJ's

Hello.  Welcome.  There are some big events going on in blogland at the moment.  Are you playing along??  I have made a tag inspired by Jennifer's tag on Day 3 of The 25 Days of Christmas Tags 2019.

I loved the black and white Jennifer used at the top of her tag and while looking for a suitable stencil I came across a magazine I had kept for ideas.  It had a graphic front in black and white so I decided to use that.  I added it to a bought manila tag and a strip of red at the bottom.  I tied a piece of twine around the middle and cut a scrap of the red using Simon Says Stamp small stitched tag, cos I liked that detail on Jennifer's card as well.  I stamped the Aall & Create Cat, called Safety First, on grey woodgrain paper, coloured with Promarkers and fussy cut.  When I bought this one I said to my friend, ooh look,  grumpy santa cat.  It's PJ's she says.  Yeah santa PJ's LOL.  I added some glitter glue to the white bits of the outfit, a woolly ball to the end of his hat and built a buckle using goldline sticker leftovers.  I popped him up on foam pads and added a Stamplorations die cut sentiment.  A little more twine and done!!  Hope he gets some coffee for Christmas!!

New Kid on the Block

Hello Nomad friends.  I would like you to say a big hi and hello to a brand new Norwegian stamp company

https://www.facebook.com/pg/Ocean-Heart-Hobby-111247430269906/posts/?ref=page_internal

Ocean Heart Hobby

They launched on the 15th of October with 8 clear stamp sets featuring some unique, fun and detailed designs.  I loved these stamps as soon as I saw them and I am so happy and excited to say that I have joined their very first design team.
Squuueeeeeee.  How fun is that!!!

Here's my first make with the very cool party hen from Ocean Heart Hobby's second stamp set.

I've used some woodgrain patterned paper with large coloured stripes which have a bit of a distressed look.

I stamped the Hen, coloured with Promarkers and white gel pen and fussy cut.  I added some crystal glaze to her eyes and some glitter to her pom poms.  On her hat!!!!  I cut a section from a grey stripe on the patterned paper, popped it up on foam and added it in front of the hen.

I stamped the #gratulerermeddagen (a norwegian happy birthday greeting) from the hen stamp set and the gratulerer (congratulations) from another set.  I added a few gold starburst and black dot stickers and a grey card base to finish.

At the moment the sentiments with these sets are all Norwegian.  Sorry rest of the world!!  Maybe this is a good time to learn a new language!!!!  Actually, I know there are Norwegian speakers all over world and the stamp designs are just so cool I am sure they will appeal to you.  Do hop over to the Ocean Heart Hobby fb page and say hi and give them a like.  If you are lucky enough to have some of these stamps there is a competition running until the 10th December.  Make anything with Ocean Heart Hobby for one of 4 chances to win a exciting prize.
