Penny Platypus

Hello.  Welcome.  I've always been fascinated by platypus and when I saw this die I knew it needed me.

Isn't that just adorbs??!!  This is Honey Bee Stamps Penny die.  It makes the paper piecing easy and also uses up lots of lovely scraps.  I used a hammered card base, highlighted the texture with Shabby Shutters distress ink and then stamped Hero Arts Word Pops (3) using Twisted Citron distress ink.  I cut the frame from a scrap of lime green card using a CC Designs die.  I added a piece of polka dot ribbon which I stamped happy birthday on.  I paper pieced Penny and used a Hero Arts small heart stamp and fussy cut it.  I added two Making Memories jumbo pebbles brads shaped as butterflies to finish.  Too cute!!

Thanks for dropping by.  Hugz
