Itchy Scratchy - Bunny Hop Post 1

Hello.  Welcome.

Here's my first bunny inspiration for my birthday bunny hop!!

I am starting my bunny blitz with a cute little die cut number using a Fuzzy Lemon die from the Baby Toys set.  I die cut and did a bit of layering and hit the embossed bits with dark blue dye ink.  The tuft on his head is a negative cut from a different die and I added the round nose, to give a bit more dimension.  For the background I took some black card and used my craft knife to scratch the lines into it, exposing the white core.  The hoppy birthday is stamped and embossed with white powder from Rubber Dance Bonny Bunny set, but more about that tomorrow.........

OK, lets get this party rocking.  I have a little giveaway sponsored by me to share with you today.  I am giving this Fuzzy Lemon die to a lucky bunny hopper!

Check the main linky post for the rooles and to link your bunny cards for your chance to win crafty carats!!

My bunny is gonna hop along and join the fun at

Scrappelyst Grublis for April - Utfordre Deg Selv I decided to try making that pattern on the black card using a knife to expose the core.  I like the result, but it was quite time consuming, so I may or may not try it again.

OK, so what you got to do to be in with a chance of winning some bunnies??
Here's me rooles........
  • You must create a card with a bunny, rabbit or hare as the focus.  A tiny little bunny hiding in a corner don't count.  Bunny shaped cards welcome.  Your card must be new and not published anywhere online before the 12th April.
  • It's my birthday, but the cards don't need to be birthday themed.  As long as we can see the bunny/bunnies it's good.
  • Your bunny can be stamped, paper pieced, die cut etc, but please no digi's.
  • You can link up to three cards, as long as each one is different and in a separate blog post.  I would love you to include my badge in your post, or better yet put it in your sidebar.  Bunnies like company!!  Hoping to see lots and lots of bunnies.
  • You can join up to 5 challenges, including this one, with your card.  So max 5 links if you want to still be eligible for my prize draws.
  • If you would like to send me your bunny themed card by snail mail I will be hopping all over the place with joy, but it is not a requirement for winning prizes.
I will be featuring my sponsors in blog posts over the next couple of weeks, along with some inspirational makes and also details of my own prizes so don't forget to check the Bunny Hop posts for more fun and maybe surprizes.....  My blog will undoubtedly be filled with bunnies, starting with my first post in a little later this evening......

Ready, Set, Hop...........

Egads it is

Hello.  Welcome.  The delightful Darnell thinks we should bring back Egads!!  I am agreeable to this.  Darnell also wants to see twofers involving Pets.  And our pets that inspire our pet creations.   Well, the cat is out for the evening, so I will have to add her at a later date.  But here's a catty twofer

Yes, it's my favourite cat from Rubber Dance stealing the show again and joining the fun at the Twofer Challenge #4

And The Cat is in the house........

Meet Puddy.  Too busy to pose nice for the camera!!

For the first card I embossed Curious Cat on a scrap of purple card, fussy cut and added some white gel pen highlights. Purple card base and a scrap of designer paper cut with a double stitch die.  The hearts are the reverse of the patterned paper.  I stamped and embossed the Rubber Dance sentiment onto vellum.

Second card.  Black card base.  Curious Cat stamped, embossed, fussy cut and coloured with Wild Honey and Hickory Smoke distress inks.  I stamped the Happy Birthday sentiment on a piece of the same card and embossed with gold tinsel embossing powder.  Then I added some chevrons.

I made the chevrons by putting some double sided tape on a piece of card and adding gold foil.  Then I die cut it with Sizzix Chevron on the edge die.  Was worried my foil might stick to the die, but it cut beautifully.

Thanks for dropping by.  Don't forget, if you are shopping at Rubber Dance you can get free worldwide shipping with my code GTFreeShip when you spend over €15! Hugz

Bottle Blue

Hello.  Welcome.  I've gone all blue for the Autism Awareness blog hop.

The Bot and sentiment are from Stamplorations Big Robot set stamped with blue dye ink.  The dark blue panel behind is my first attempt at foiling!!  I used Rubber Dance Marbalise stamp, Wow bonding powder and blue foil.  I quite like it.  I cut the foiled panel and the sentiment panel with Sizzix Deckle Edge dies.  The double stitch die is also by Stamplorations.
