Hello. Welcome. It's all white and slushy here. Time to sit in cosy and craft. I have been playing with a brand new set of stamps from STAMPloration called Sugar Rush. I've made a box of macarons! What fun. Pity they aren't real. Nam nam....
This is an ATC and with a bit of careful stamping I was able to get 18 macarons in my box LOL. I coloured with sharpies and pencils and added a wink of stella to the cream centers. Then I added a thin gold paper border, so it looks like a box lid, maybe? Should have put a piece of acetate over! Duh!!! Why do I always think of these things after the fact??
Then I added some twine and a tag stamped with a sentiment stamp from the same set. What do you think? Feeling hungry?

Nothing New Here
Hello. Welcome. No new followers to welcome, no new crafty stash or techniques to share. A small relief to revert to old favourites and trusted techniques. I needed a quick birthday card and picked up a favourite Unity stamp and my Dreamweavers Waves and Dots stencil. One thing I couldn't decide on was the colour scheme so you are getting a two for one deal LOL
I stamped Unity Stamp Co. First Love, masked and used Dusty Concord DI with Dreamweavers Waves and Dots stencil. Wasn't sure these colours were right for the birthday girl so......
Went with the Wild Honey DI. I was going to use a yellow base card but it looked a bit wishy washy. The blue added a nice pop.
Think I'm liking the yellow best. Thanks for dropping by. Hugz

Beauty of Winter
Hello. Welcome. Happy New Year and happy new followers. A special hi and hello to Shery and Lynne who have joined our happy little band. So glad to have you along. Hugz for everyone. Maybe it's the new year. I know I have been looking for new challenges and in the process have found a few new blogs to follow. Must just make sure I take some time and get around and leave some love. If I haven't visited you in a while do please invite me over. We are all busy but I really do appreciate the time you take to come over and leave some love. More hugz.
I really seem to be doing more die cutting than stamping at the moment. Maybe that's cos I treated myself to a few new dies for the silly season. Today I decided to use a die I saw Jeanne using that I have had for a while but not ever used. So I decided to give her technique a whirl. I have also been experimenting with a watermark. I hope it's not too distracting.
This is Poppystamps Bonney Stem die. I've gone blue, silver and glitter because I think it's a great reflection of winter colours. I cut and embossed it in grey card then used Brilliance Starlight Silver and Versamagic Aegean Sea and Night Sky to colour. I cut Poppystamps Diamond Background from glitter card, a border in the same glitter card, and added a silver organza bow. I left the card long so I can add an appropriate sentiment later. This simple style is one I am seeing a lot on the Poppystamps blog. Using plain card really makes the dies pop.

Shake, Rattle and Blow
Hello. Welcome. The wind is blowing and the house is shaking. Baby, it's wild out there!! Hope you are all safe and warm. Over at Cheery Lynn it's all about winter whites so I decided to make a wedding card. I know it's a popular time to get married. Dreams of the wedding photo's with a sunny snowy backdrop. Very white on white
Looking at her now, maybe I should have fashioned her some sleeves!! A bit chilly wedding frock for a winter celebration!! Ah well. I used my new Sizzix Alpine Pattern embossing folder for my first layer. I cut Cheery Lynn Celtic Fire Oval Frame, leaving the negative cuts in place, and backed it with card embosssed with Cuttlebug Snowflakes embossing folder. I stamped the Prima doll Lorrena and fussy cut her. I have added tiny flowers cut using Cheery Lynn Dandelion die to her bodice, belt and headband. I used clear Wink of Stella on her dress, bodice and head band and added some lace to the bottom of her dress.

Sweet Snowglobe
Hello. Welcome. A special hi and hello to my newest follower Pamellia. So glad to have you along. Hugz all round.
OK, I have succumbed to Christmas!! I know, late again. Or maybe fashionably early. Fa la la la la. The challenge at Poppystamps is Beauty of Winter and I found a fun new challenge, One Layer Christmas, so I thought I'd play along.
I stamped Poppystamps Candy House and coloured with sharpies. I've had this stamp for a while but this is the first time I have used it. So cute. I wanted some winter sparkle so I used glitter glue for the globe and clear Wink of Stella on the snow. The sentiment is a Unity stamp. My first Christmas card of 2015. Yeah.

Pony Express
Hello. Welcome. Having fun this evening with a stamp I have had for a while but never used. Yee Haw
I stamped and embossed DRS Cowboy Silhouette with black embossing powder. I used Dreamweavers Waves stencil and Archival Watering Can ink for the background. The yee haw is die cut letters and the sentiment is computer generated. Yee haw.

Happy Little Mojo
Hello. Welcome. I am feeling super inspired. I hope the mojo is with you too. I think it's something to do with the happy mail which is dropping through the mail box. I ordered a few things before Christmas but they obviously got held up in the rush. In a way that's good, cos it was way too hectic before Christmas to play, so now is actually a perfect time for these little packages to arrive. I've already used these two new dies HERE, but Die-Namites posted their challenge today and it seemed to fit perfectly with an idea I had. Except for the pink!! That wasn't in my original idea
I've used my new Die-Namites dies, Deer Birch Background and Floral Deer, minus the leafy antlers, and combined with my old favourites, distress inks. The background die was cut from black card, but I didn't cut the bottom edge so the deer remain attached to the ground. The single deer was cut from card coloured with pink distress inks. Again I didn't cut the bottom of the die so the deer stays attached to the ground. I then cut this to shape with a knife. I mounted this deer on foam pads.
The top of the panel was a ripped edge which had been well inked. I liked it but it was too high for the card so I ripped a piece off. TOO MUCH!!! So I tore the detached piece in half, inked all the edges and layered all the pieces back together. I think it adds an interesting feature to the top of the card. Then I added a pointy banner which I stamped with a sentiment and stars from YNS Diva Jade set.
