TaDa

Hello Nomad friends.  It's the second of the month so time for the Card Chain Challenge reveal.  This is an international card exchange.  Make a card, send a card, get a card.  Everyone gets a card, everyone's a winner.  It's also a new month and a new challenge at Lost Coast Designs, so double bubble this Mouse fitted the bill for the Animal challenge, while also seeming to be perfect for this card winging it's way to my very good friend Linda in Michigan.

I went with the options of Music and Friendship and maybe even Funny.  That mouse, named TaDa, makes me laugh.  I added a little Promarker and gel pen colour to him.  I was also aiming for Rocker Card, but due to 'I don't know what' my rocker didn't want to stay upright.  Maybe my card front was too heavy, maybe my curve was wrong, maybe a tap dancing mouse was rocking too much.  So I'm calling this a faux-rocker! Linda, if you want to round off the bottom and see if he can stand up your side of the pond do feel free.  It works in my minds eye LOL.  I know Linda likes singing, so I added some musical notes, and she travels a lot, so this sentiment from Lost Coast Designs Travel Quotes seemed perfect.

'A journey is best measured in friends rather than miles'

Check out the REVEAL for awesome cards from amazing artists.

  2. Well, rocking or not Gail - it's a fun card! lt looks like the mouse is trying to balance there so maybe he's preventing it rocking??!! Love the music staff on both edges too! Julia xx

  4. Quite a funny card and the poor guy can't even rock. I'm not a rocker expert, but are they supposed to be round? I don't know because I had never made one until this month. I think he is still funny!

  5. That is very cute and such a fun card; even if it doesn't quite rock the way you intended.
