Hello Nomad friends. Getting a little crafting done in the between days. I always feel a little dislocated after the run up to Christmas, all that good food and festivities, and then we spend a few days pending, waiting for the New Year celebrations to kick start the year. It's a good time to relax and reflect and recharge. I am already on my perpetual resolution to use more scraps. Scrap mountain continues to grow. I did make myself a new system of boxes that stack together on my desk for the smaller pieces and it seems to be working well. It keeps them handy and in my eye-line. Lots of scraps in this card which was inspired by the Memory Box challenge to use patterned paper.
I used Memory Box Backyard Wren and Palace Oval Frame dies and lots of scraps of patterned paper. I added a layer of ice lolly box thick card behind the wren to make it stand out a bit more. Found this fun printed sentiment bar in the pp scraps which was a perfectly sized offcut from a printed sheet. A bit busy, but then wrens are a busy sort of bird. Love watching them flitting around in the garden, especially at this time of year when they are diligently looking for snacks.
Thanks for dropping by. Hugz
