Black and White Christmas Elves

Hello Nomad friends.  The current challenge at the Lost Coast Portal to Creativity is Black and White and I thought it would be fun to make a Christmas card.  I often stamp images and leave them uncoloured, and when your stamps have as much detail as the ones offered by Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda they always look really good just as they are.   I've used Carmen's Veranda Elf with Star and Elf for the starring roles for this card.

I kept this a one layer card by using masks on the elves.  I stamped Elf with Star and Elf, masked them and stamped the edge of Lost Coast Designs Fourth Dimension for the floor and the vertical Merry Christmas in black.  With the masks still in place I stamped randomly with one of the Small Snowflakes and grey archival ink.  Unmask and enjoy the magic!!!  I went round the edge with a black promarker to give a nice framed finish.

This challenge is perfect for quick no fuss makes.  Join the fun with your black and white, or white and black stamped projects for a chance to win Lost Coast dollars.  Don't forget to check out all the awesome projects from the team.

Thanks for dropping by.  Hugz

Your masking resulted in a really amazing scene! Both elves are so fun and leaving it b&w really causes one to look at all the detail. Thanks so much for sharing with us at Christmas Craft Creations!
