Ink Blots and Dragonflews

Hello.  Welcome.  Becca is having a birthday bash.

She made this fancy moodboard for our inspiration

And also made a few suggestions.  I went with

  • a bright bold explosion of colours
  • circular shapes
  • artsy fartsy experimentation

I started with a circular piece of paper.  I sprinkled on brusho powders, yellow, orange, red,  turquoise and ultra marine.  I rubbed the colours into the paper in a circular pattern and spritzed with water

Cool.  Can you see what I see?  I saw a poppy, but drawing has never been my strong point so...........

I got this lovely sentiment in a Unity stamp grab bag and decided it would go perfectly with Unity's Beach Girl.  So I cut my beautiful background, stamped the sentiment and coloured the girl in a rainbow of colour.  Happy Birthday Becca.

Thanks for dropping by.  Hugz
