Some Things Are Difficut To Say

Hello.  Welcome.  I have been thinking about the STAMPlorations sketch and also about sympathy cards.  Then DRS put up cool colours so I decided to combine and came up with this

I cut a mask using Spellbinders Label 31 set then stencilled using STAMPlorations Foiled Again and Watering Can archival onto a panel cut with Simon Says Stamp stitched rectangle die.  I edged the panel with black archival, added a bit extra for shadow, and a bit more, and there goes the CAS look!!  Smudges all over.  Quite like that LOL.  I stamped and black embossed the sentiment from STAMPlorations Bloom Sketches.  The flower is from the same set, stamped, fussy cut and coloured with distress stains.

  1. Great inking and sponging, Gail! I can never get my smudges to look artsy like the smudges on your card! Great take on the sketch and since you're #250 on the ATG challenge, I'm drawing winners and posting tomorrow! Always happy to see your beautiful makes in the STAMPlorations gallery! Hugs :o)

  4. You accomplished it all in one card, Gail, and it's a stunner. I, too, quite like the "smudges" as it adds so much texture for the eye. It's the perfect condolence card! Well done!
