Sound of a Superhero

Hello.  Welcome.  Many moons ago I purchased a goody box.  I always hope that these cheap lucky dips will yield a real treasure, and they often do, but along with the treasure there is usually a turkey.  In this particular box were some Kanban paper craft toppers.  Now I have nothing against such things, they do some really pretty ones, but these particular ones were super tiny heroes - good and bad guys.  Well!!  Just not my thing.  Pow! Bish! Bash! Uff!  Stick them in a dusty corner......  And then a light at the end of the tunnel.  Jenn over at Wicked Wednesday says show me your superheroes!!  Well, blow me down and stand me back up again.  I immediately grabbed these toppers and, after some fussy cutting and a bit of this and that........

Meet Super Tiny Frog.  He was going to be leaping a tall building but I couldn't find one small enough.   Instead he's showing his muscles lifting Sizzix Movers and Shapers Jalopy.  Now I got all excited cos I though I could emboss this with the Artful Muse Jalopy embossing folder.  Unfortunately there is a size difference that is ascetically displeasing.  Unwilling to be deterred I decided to do a bit of old fashioned embossing and improvisation.  So I set the front wheel in place in the embossing folder and using my ball tool got some detail.  Then I moved the die cut to align the back wheel and used the ball tool again.  Then I moved the die cut again, oh you get the idea.  I think it was quite successful.  A swipe or two with DI Walnut Stain and ta dah.  The words are also fussy cut from the topper sheets.  Not sure what a Plunk! is.  Maybe that's the noise when Super Tiny Frog drops Jalopy on his head!!  My ATC was one I cut the other day from a DI experiment failure.  I added VersaMagic chalk around the edge to give a bit more Biff!  Or maybe that's Boff!  Never really understood Superhero speak....

Super Tiny Frog is joining the fun at

That's all folks!  Thanks for your visit.  Hope you have something exciting planned for the weekend.  Hugs
