Hello.  Welcome.  Shopping my stash tonight, starting with ye olde long forgotten embellishments.  Still in the MME chipboards.  This time we have moved back in time to 2010 and this cute potion mistress is from MME's Blackbird glittered chipboards

I really love this.  Ain't she just too cute to spook.  The orange is a piece of fabric left over from my scrunchie I made for one of my Rubber Dance DT projects this month.  It is stamped with small stars and dots.  The bootastic and boo are Cheery Lynn dies.  The background is a collage of stamps from Inspired by Stamping

Ain't that just so cool for Halloween nuts.  I used purple Brusho's to make the background then used 11 different stamps from Inspired by Stamping Tricks & Treats, Halloween Labels and Halloween Tags set.  Masking was involved also.  I cut the panel with Simon Says Stamp Stitched Rectangle die to give that cute stitched border.

Hello.  Welcome.  Happy Halloween to all you who celebrate and to those who don't WHY NOT????  I love Halloween and really can't understand why it can't be orange, green and purple all year round.  Today I have decided to shop my stash and go places rarely visited.  I started with my embellishment drawer.  Well really, look at all these stickers, brads, clip art thingys, patterned chipboards.  It's almost as bad as the patterned paper pile!!  Too pretty to use or 'gotta stamp  and colour my own else it isn't handmade' problem.  Well today I decided to see what I got and use a bit.  And despite what I said earlier, I'm starting with non-traditional halloween colours......

Happy pink Halloween.  I started with this cute little witch chipboard from MME Mischevious chipboard elements (circa 2011!)  I thought she was a little nontraditional being basically black on kraft with touches of orange and green.  Then I grabbed a scrap of Prima paper that was printed with text and roses!  I cut my tag using Sizzix #2 Tag dies and stamped the pumpkins using Inspired by Stamping Pumpkin Faces stamps onto two of the printed roses and fussy cut them.  Pink pumpkins?  Maybe next year..... wistful sigh!  The boo's, bootastic and bats are all Cheery Lynn diecuts and some pink and white wool to finish.

V is for Village

Hello.  Welcome.  Flicking through the dictionary I see village and an idea I had last week pops up again.

I covered my giant playing card with plain paper and stamped Rubber Dance Textured Houses many times, masking in between.  I left a gap at the top and watercoloured the sky with distress inks.  Then I added the definition from OED.   That's all folks.......

A Sequin Or Too

Hello.  Welcome.  It's late and the chronologically challenged among us are having trouble dealing with the changing of the hours.  So unaware that I hadn't even realised they were moving the hands this weekend.  I was busy dealing with pumpkins and spooks.  And cake.  There was a lot of cake.

And then there was the Memory Box challenge wanting sequins.  Hmmmmm

Kept it simple, black and white, and sequins.  Memory Box Border die cut in black, adhered to a white base card and then I added a couple of black sequins.  Well, OK, maybe a whole row of black sequins.  What do you think??

Hello.  Welcome.  I always think this lion from Rubber Dance African Animals looks so thoughtful.  I have paired it simply with the large spiral from Round in Circles stamped in various distress colours in shades of autumn.

The sentiment is from the new Beautiful Words set.  Love that font.  All stamps are by the Norwegian company Rubber Dance Stamps.

There is still time to join the Rubber Dance challenge

Hello.  Welcome.  Just wanted to share the card I sent to Anita this month as part of CCC.  If you don't know what this is, basically you make and send a card to someone on planet earth, and a totally different someone sends you a card.  Happy mail winging it's way around the planet.  It's so nice to get a card each month.

This is the card I sent to Anita.  I was feeling in Halloween mode!  I used the sketch and flipped it.  I cut my card base and panel with Stamploration's Crazy Stitched Rectangle dies.  I stamped the background panel with The Artistic Stamper Material background stamp.  Great pattern.  The werewolf, cat, bats and cat 'balloon' are all Cheery Lynn dies, Monster Kids set 1, Witches Brew and Whimsical Halloween Cat.  The pumpkin and the werewolf's eyes are from Inspired by Stamping Pumpkin Faces set.

Thanks for dropping by.  If you would like to sign up for the November CCC exchange or see the September reveal the links are at the top of this post.  Hugz
