Hello Nomad friends. A little more Christmas for the merry month of July. I've used CC Designs stamps and decided to try stamping my main image with Sky Blue archival for a little snow on snow effect. The jury is still out.........
I managed to pick a blue Promarker for the bird that was the same colour as the lines and no line became blob! I've done my best with a fine black pen to bring him back from the other dimension but he looks a little um....... Well anyway, I've used the very sweet CC Designs Winter Snowman stamp coloured with Promarkers and a little distress marker shading. I stamped CC Designs Plaid Background with Sky Blue ink and both panels with stitch dies. The circle one is from the Works and the square one from Gummiapan.
Thanks for dropping by. Hugz

ReplyDeleteSo darling, Gail - love that image and how you colored it!!
ReplyDeleteThat cute snowman is absolutely darling! So glad you joined us at Die Cut Divas Christmas for our July Challenge of "Christmas in July" and always using a die cut or embossed panel.
ReplyDeleteYour card is super cute. I think the stamping with blue was an inspired choice - making things look frosty. You did a great job of "saving" that bird. Thanks for joining us at Die Cut Divas.
