Hello. Welcome. I would like to extend my eternal thanks to all the Christmas challenge blogs out there who are helping me keep on track to replenish my Xmas card stash. It was seriously depleted to zero last year and I am enjoying the challenge of building it up again, one card at a time, cos that's how I roll........
Here's an Elf for the Christmas Kickstart Challenge. That theme actually threw me a bit cos I remember I was elf challenged a few months ago. I can't for the life of me remember if I solved that challenge, but luckily today I remembered I had this Paperartsy set that contains a number of little, slender xmas characters, including this elf, who I think looks a bit like a stick of dynamite!!
I was the lucky winner at
Hazel's Christmas challenge two Saturdays ago and a lovely pack of christmas papers have found their way to me. Thanks Hazel. I decided to do a partial fussy/die cut on this one using a craft knife to cut around the three envelopes and then die cut with Stamplorations Snowy Stitched Hills die.
Really love how that stitched border seems to tuck behind the little envelopes. I edged the patterned paper panel with turquoise chalk and stamped the elf on a scrap on white card. I coloured him with Promarkers and fussy cut. Doesn't he look mischevious?! A perfect card for a young man me thinks.
Thanks for dropping by. Hugz

Christmas Kickstart Challenge #12 - The Elves and The Shoemaker just realised it didn't actually have to be an elf, but it works, so all is merry and bright with the world.
