Lost Coast Designs Mayan Blog Hop - Day 2

Hello.  Welcome.  It's day 2 of Mayan Madness!  The Lost Coast Designs Design Team are having a Mayan Blog hop to celebrate some cool new stamps in the shop.  You should be coming from Cathy's blog if you are following the hop, but if you have just happened by then you can find the full hop list HERE.

The team have been stamping up a storm using the fabulous Mayan Hieroglyph and Mayan Stele stamps.

Today I've used the Mayan Hieroglyph stamp that Laurie nicknamed 'Big Chief'.  He looks a bit chiefly with that posh blanket and hairdo.  I have placed him in his sky temple.

I started by smearing Salty Ocean distress oxide on my white card base.  I like the chalky finish.  Then I stamped the Mayan Stele stamp with blue dye ink and fussy cut some lines of stones to make the frame.  There is only one of the big blocks on the stamp so I stamped that bit 4 times to get my corner stones.

I stamped my Mayan, coloured with Promarkers and fussy cut him.  I gave him plenty of gold, cos like I said, he looks chiefly!

Then I put him in his sky temple so he can contemplate the vastness of it all and admire the carvings.

Thanks for dropping by.  Don't forget to leave a little love to be in with a chance to win a prize.  To continue on the hop you need to go to Laurie.  If you get lost or find a broken link then you can find the full hop list at the Lost Coast Portal to Creativity. Good luck!  Have fun!  Hugz.
