Hello. Welcome. I am one of those late people. No, not dead!! Just often a bit last minute. Take birthdays. There's a good chance the card will be late, or I remember the week before and then promptly forget, cos I already remembered, and totally miss it. So this works for me....
I was inspired by the sleeping red dragon cake in the Stamplorations Cutplorations challenge. I also went with navy and silver that is also in the picture. I stuck a piece of drywall tape to the tag to act like a stencil and then added blue acrylic paint. I removed the tape. OK, not the best stencil in the world but I quite like the broken pattern and how the paint crept under some of the lines, but you can still see the pattern. I stamped, embossed and coloured the Stamplorations flying dino, who I thought looked a bit dragony, with distress inks and gave him googly eyes, cos you can't go wrong with a googly eye or two. Then I cut Stamplorations Oh frap! from silver mirror card and embossed with a Sizzix embossing folder. A bit of shot silk ribbon and we are done.
Thanks for dropping by. Hugz
