D is for Dog

Hello.  Welcome.  I was looking at this cute dog stamp earlier and couldn't decide how to incorporate it onto my altered playing cards.  Then whilst I was posting D is for Diamond I had an idea.

I decided to make it look like a slide folder.  I covered my playing card with black card and embossed using Darice Filmstrip embossing folder.  I stamped, embossed, and cut out High Hopes Framed Puppy.  I coloured with sharpies and distress inks.  I added some pink flower brads and a butterfly accent sticker.  The definition is from the OED

Thanks for dropping by.  Hugz

Cute design, Gail! Glad you are still working with the APCs as you do have a knack for transforming the cards into the cutest pieces of art. Adorable doggie, too!
