Mermaids Don't Wear Shoes

Greetings Nomad followers and friends.  So glad you could join me.  The end of the month is nigh and there are a few challenges I have been working on.  Had to take a little trip to the old country to wish Nan a Happy 90th Birthday but now I am returned and just need to add some finishing touches.  We hope.

Spent most of today out in the garden.  Let out all 31 baby rabbits.  Yep, 31.  Don't ask.  It's been a very good year for rabbits.  And now the weeds are finally appearing it was all stations go and amazing how much those little eating machines can get through in a day.  They are all finally old enough to be free rangers so now I just have to be careful not to step on them.  They go so fast and that's a lot of rabbits zipping around.   I spent way too much time watching them exploring.  Will try and remember to take out the camera and get a photo of the gang.

Over at Altered Pages the challenge this month is shoes.  I have some G45 Old Curiosity Shoppe papers and have made a tag.  Sorry, still feeling taggy.  It is a bit different than my normal though so hope you like it as much as I do.

I cut a 8 x 15cm tag from pale yellow card and added some pale blue lacy stuff I bought at the haberdashery.  It gives a lovely crackle effect.  I laid it on the black background as well so you can see it a bit better.  The lady and the boot are from G45 and the wings are Altered Pages Collage sheet 1008D.  I printed these on glossy paper and the colours are beautiful.  The picture doesn't really do it justice.  The lady is holding a silver metal shoe from Korthobby.  I have used sticky pads behind the wing tips and her head to give it a bit more dimension.  The tag tie is some ripped cotton fabric.
