Good morning to you all. I hope that you are having a great Sunday. Here the sun is shinning, the birds are singing and the bunnies are hopping. Even the tiny little three weekers are out looking at the big wide world today. I'll have to get a picture of them for you as well but they are quite difficult to photograph because they move so fast. They are a bit like snooker balls. They wizz around and if they run into a sibling then that one shoots off as well. Hilarious.
I am still being inspired over at PaperArtsy. Sue used a number of techniques this week and I have kind of mixed and matched on this card. I liked her arch and the used of corrugated card and texture paste so I have cut some card using Tim Holtz Vintage Cabinet Die
I cut an aperture and exposed some of the corrugations and then painted it.
I used DI inks Chipped Sapphire and Broken China on white card and then added some texture paste, a nice white one this time through Tando Splats mask.
Then I stamped all over using the feather from PaperArtsy LPC001 set.
Then I put it all together. Added a DI with Splats Ding Dong Bird from SIDD05, a bow, and a metal clock embelishment. The piece around the clock is part of Cheery Lynn Spring Flower Burst Doily and there is a Cheery Lynn Mini Dimensional Butterfly coloured with alcohol inks.

I just love that Ding Dong bird and he looks really pleased with himself on your gorgeous cabinet die base - great colours and techniques. Hugs, Anne x
I love the effect of the inks on the bird. The clock looks great and I like the theme of feathers carried through from the background to the bird himself.x
Fabulous techniques again, love the colours and textures a lot.

What a very artsy creation! Good luck and thanks for joining in on the fun at Cheery Lynn Designs Challenge blog.
The clock, bird and bow are all strong elements, yet here, they do not compete, but rather compliment each other! This technique is brilliant. Nicely done, Gail!
Really nice!
