Hello.  Welcome.  CASology's new cue word is Odd.  Well, this fellow definitely qualifies.

I made my little forgetful monster using the hat stamp from Rubber Dance Poodle Power set.  Two hats = one monster.  I used a tiny star stencil and Taylored Expressions Cookie Monster dye ink.  The sentiment is a Stamplorations die.  Always useful to have an oops! card to hand.

Swans and Sevens and Rainbows

Hello.  Welcome.  Another post inspired by the WCMD challenges.  It kinda evolved a bit and became another twofer.  I quite like this little card blitz.  Mr Mojo is usually a bit slower on the uptake LOL.  So, numbers.  I had in mind 7, cos that's the theme of Milka's I Love Maths Challenge.  I remembered I had bought X-cuts 12 Days of Christmas ages ago and never used them.  So 7 = swans.  Christmas card then eh??

Since swans are traditionally white I decided to go all white on white.  I cut 7 swans and arranged them on my card.  Then I cut the number 7 and the letters using Sizzix alpha dies.  Then I'm musing.  7 swans a swimmin', 7 chakras, 7 colours of the rainbow, WHOA, rainbow.  Well, why not.........

Gosh, the same but different!   So I cut my coloured swans from a load of snippets from the scrap box.  Then I decided to cut the 7 and the words in a rainbow of colour as well.  What do you think??

Every Day Friends

Hello.  Welcome.  It was another lovely sunny day today with a frosty start so much time in the garden, digging potatoes and enjoying the sun.  So this evening I have been in the craft room, crafting like a crazy Gail, inspired by yesterday's world card making posts.  So here's a quick little card dedicated to my friend Jo, who is a great help to me and who puts up with my crazy.  Hugz

I used MME patterned paper and sizzix dies to cut the numbers.  Both stamps are from Sprinkle and Sparkle Girlfriend Support Set #3.  I used Colourbox black cherry chalk for the stamping and to edge the card.

Thoughts Across the Miles

Hello.  Welcome.  I have used AAA Cards Sketch to make a CAS card for my friend who has just lost her mother.  This one will be in the post tomorrow, winging it's way to the other side of the planet.  Hugz Dawn.

I stamped Tilda Mini Bunny, masked and stamped the Hero Arts sentiment.  Distress inks for colour.

Happy World Card Making Day 2017

Hello.  Welcome.  Happy World Card Making Day.  I hope you have had a chance to sit down and get crafty today.  As usual the weather forecast was wrong.  They predicted nasty and we got nice.  A lovely change, so I have spent most of the day outside.  But now I have found a little time to craft.   My Favourite Things have set a lovely WCMD challenge - 100% die cuts.  Wow, what fun.  So I decided to combine with the colour challenge from Memory Box - Orange and Black.   Here we go......

I've used a black card base and die cut orange paper with Memory Box Loop Border and Tree of Wonder dies.  And then, as my friend Darnell would say, a Twofer.....

I used the negative bits to make a twofer. 

 100% dies, no ink, stamps or sparkle, very cool.  Thanks for the challenge.  Go create.  Hugz

Hello.  Welcome.  I seem to be having a Christmassy sort of day!!  Inspired by Chris's sparkly cards over at the PaperArtsy blog I wheeled out some patterned paper, glittery paste and a christmas mouse.  Merry merry everyone.

I used a piece of do-crafts stripy paper, green Nuvo Glimmer paste and PaperArtsy stencil PS007.  I stamped and coloured the Panduro mouse image.  Quite cute, but I aspire to get me some Zinski's.

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - Christmas

It's Traditional

Hello.  Welcome.  Got some new dies from Poppystamp and wanted to play with the small and unassuming Clever Keypad (NBUS).  I decided to use it to make some stencils and then I went all green and gold for christmas.  

Quick and easy, just perfect for christmas.  I stencilled the background using Evergreen Bough distress ink.  I cut, embossed and added gold glitter glue to Memory Box Frosted Christmas Tree.  The sentiment (Happy Christmas in Norwegian) was cut using a Papirdesign die.  I added a green layer behind the gold to give a little shadow

This is the stencil I made using the Poppystamps Clever Keypad die.  I cut it out of a piece of glossy packaging so I will be able to use it a few times.  I used the design on the right for this card.
