The Cat Has Plans

Hello Nomad friends.  I am joining the Rubber Dance team today to share some mid-month inspiration.  I recently bought some linen covered notebooks and thought it would be fun to dress one up with a cat theme featuring Rubber Dance's lovely Curious Cat. 

Here's the notebook I started with.

I smudged the edges of the cover with versafine ink and gold embossed for some subtle shimmer.  Then I used a Sepia archival ink pad to add some extra definition to the embossed edges.

I cut a piece of yellow vellum, embossed with a sizzix hearts folder and then heat embossed the deges with Emerald Creek Dirty Sand embossing powder.  The black cat panel is Paper Boutique die cut and I used Waffle Flower alpha dies for the letters.  I used a sheet of card I had used for a Brusho background mop up and stamped and black embossed the Cat and the Adore Me sentiment.
