Growing In Unity - Day 4

Hello.  Welcome.  This week I am Growing in Unity.  Are you are having as much fun as me.  What a blast!!  I hope you are getting a few ideas for maybe different ways to use your stamps and supplies.   I am certainly enjoying using some of those stamps that haven't yet seen ink.  Today I am keeping it one layer, and quite clean and simple, and also using a lot of colour, mixed media and a lot of stamps!!  Let me know what you think, cos I will be drawing two names from everyone who leaves comments on my Growing in Unity posts and you will get a fabtastic Unity grab bag.

I used stamps from Unity Twinkle, Stay Classy, Bee Happy Hexagons, and a tiny butterfly stamp that came in a grab bag.  I stamped and embossed the girl from Twinkle and masked her.  Then I stamped the heart with the love text and the sentiment with black archival.  I took the hexagon stamp with the wood texture and stamped it with pale blue chalk ink.  I unmasked the girl and stamped the tiny butterflies twice on her top and then coloured with distress ink and Promarkers.

Thanks for dropping by.  Don't forget to leave a comment and I'll be back tomorrow with more Unity inspiration.  Also the Unity Stamp Company is celebrating it's 10th birthday and there is a massive sale!  Massive!!  Everything is on sale!!!  Hop over and check it out.  Hugz

Very cleverly done to get all seven elements on your card and well thought out. I love the girl image. Those little butterflies must have taken patience to stamp. Thankyou for coming and playing in my celebration butterfly wheel challenge. Hugs Mrs A.

Great card! This does give me some ideas so I don't have multiple layers on a card. Great masking idea!

There are times I wish I had a teenage daughter rather than a boy... Your card is such a great design for a girl! Glad I finally managed to hook up to the internet, I'd have missed on your special event!

What a great job of masking! I know how we can tend to overlook stamps, so it's fun to see you motivated to use some that have been tucked away. One layer cards are always the hardest for me but I'm feeling so inspired now!

Love this. I really like the new trend of using more than one stamp on single layer cards. This is just a fabulous example.
