Hello. Welcome. This week I am privileged to be Growing in Unity. I would like to thank Unity for this wonderful opportunity, and I'd like to thank you for hopping by and checking out my creations featuring Unity stamps. At the end of this week I will draw two names of people who leave comments on my Growing in Unity posts and they will each get a 25 stamp grab bag from Unity Stamp Company. Is that awesome or is that awesome??!!!!
Here's my card for today using stamps from Better With Age and a sentiment from Time to Enjoy Life
I had some free papers arrive the other day with a magazine and instead of saying 'Oooh, pretty' and putting them in my miscellaneous papers file I decided to take a bold step and use them!! I used a sketch from Scrappelyst and paper pieced the thistle in a vase from the Better With Age stamp kit. The image actually shows the stem, so it's a glass vase, but I wanted a more ceramic look so masked off the stem and the extra water line. Don't ask!!!! I stamped the flower, leaves and two parts of the vase on different patterned papers and fussy cut. I stamped the heart and the arrow with flower images from the same set, fussy cut and coloured with Promarkers. The stitched oval is a Sizzix die.
Thanks for dropping by. Don't forget to leave a comment and I'll be back tomorrow with more Unity inspiration. Also the Unity Stamp Company
is celebrating it's 10th birthday and there is a massive sale!
Massive!! Everything is on sale!!! Hop over and check it out. Hugz
