Something Beginning With Strange

Hello.  Welcome.  I wanted to try and join the fun at PaperArtsy but their theme Dark to Light had me a bit stumped so, with the minutes ticking by, I decided to have another look at the blog and spotted a lovely project by Wendy.  Here's my version.

I started by putting a blob of white acrylic in the top right corner of a black card base and then used a large stencil brush to work it out of the corner in an arcy pattern, working towards dry brushing.  Cool.  Then I stamped, embossed, coloured and fussy cut Carmen's Veranda's Ballerina With Fish.  Since I had a nice white bit I black embossed the sentiment, also from Carmen's Veranda.  Thanks for the inspiration Wendy.

Thanks for dropping by.  Hugz

This is going to give me my recurrent nightmare... all I can see is a giant wave which is about to engulf that innocent lady! Visually though, it's great, I like the movement of the "wave" and the fishing bit is fun.
