Dancing On The Ceiling

Hello.  Welcome.  You're singing aren't you!  I can hear you.  Ooooh, what a feeling, dancing on the ceiling...... Hold that thought......   This was going to be an ATC but it grew and became a tag.  There just wasn't room to cram it all on the ATC base.   Do you remember those funny little books where you read one story with pictures and then you turned it upside down and read another story and the pictures were the same, but different!  No!!  Oh, you missed out.  If you haven't got a clue what I'm talking about take a look at my tag

I got happy mail from Cheery Lynn today.  This little vampire is part of Cheery Lynn's Monster Kids #1 set.  Ain't he cool......  Dancing on the ceiling........

I cut my tag using Sizzix Ornate Labels die.  I stamped DRS Spooky Eyes background and embossed with white embossing powder.  I managed to get some extra ink on the tag from the edge of the stamp.  Usually I would have cleared this away, but I thought this time it would actually add to my design, so it stayed.  Then I embossed messily around the edge as well.

I paper pieced the Vampire kid and made a faux metal embellishment, inspired by this MFP tutorial, using silver embossing powder and Hero Arts/Sizzix Chandelier stamp/die combo.

Ooh, ooh, dancing on the ceiling....  Enough with the song!!  This is serious art!!!!  The three pumpkins are from MFP Halloween Selection set.  I stamped, watercoloured and fussy cut.  The cat and bats are from Cheery Lynn Witches Brew set and the Bootastic is from Cheery Lynn Frankenstein set.

I added some purpley bobbly wooly stuff to the top/bottom of the tag.  I'm not sure if we are up side down or right way up.  All together now, dancing on the ceiling oooh, ooh....

Thanks for dropping in.  Hugz
