L is for Librarian

Hello.   Welcome.  I've been having fun tonight altering a playing card for the Craft Barn Alpha/Dictionary challenge.  This time we are playing with the letter L.  I went with Librarian

Librarian - a person in charge of or assisting in a library.  She looks like she could assist.  And she's got a lovely pile of books.  Works for me.......    I covered my playing card with some do-craft script paper.  A story about a teddy bear locked in the attic.  Sad.  I edged and tinted with Shabby Shutters distress ink.  Then I added a chevron chipboard which I also smeared with Shabby Shutters. I added a torn piece of book paper from a Norwegian book.  Possibly a steamy romance?  A bit more Shabby Shutters.  Then we have Gorjuss New Heights (NBUS) and her pile of books.  Ain't she sweet.  Coloured with distress inks and added the definition from the OED.  The butterflies are Crafty Individuals stamps.

Thanks for dropping by.  Hugz

She's got to be the absolute sweetest little librarian assistant ever. This is so cute. You've packed a lot of great details into this card size creation. That is an amazing background.

What a great Librarian's assistant you created Gail. This little girl is so much fun and your stamping and coloring makes it even prettier. Great choice of the L challenge this fortnight.

She doesn't look like she could be useful in a library but she's fun and the colouring is great. Very good "page"

Well, first off, I think you should win that dictionary challenge! This is beyond clever, Gail! She is so perfect and so are all the other elements of your design! (And wouldn't she be cute if you drew on a pair of glasses? lol!) Thank you so much for playing in my NBUS Challenge #6!! Hugs, Darnell
