Silhouette Santa

Hello.  Welcome.  Less than a month til Christmas.  Better make some cards.  Ho Ho Ho

I started with a blue card base.  I used Taylored Expressions Downtown Border die and used the negative as a mask and sponged black acrylic paint to create the silhouette city.  I sponged Blueprint Sketch distress for the sky and added a circle of white acrylic, also through a homemade mask, cos I wanted a yellow moon not a green one!!  Unexpected forward thinking LOL

I used the Downtown Border cut as a stencil and sponged yellow acrylic for the lights in the buildings and the moon.  I stamped Crafty Individuals Santa Sleigh stamp and embossed with black powder.   I liked this enough to make a couple the same and since the masks were cut it was actually quite quick to reproduce.  Think I may need to cut the masks from something other than card though.  The city lights are a bit irregular.  Maybe it's frosty LOL.

Thanks for dropping by.  Hugz

Well, yes, I'm pretty sure it's frosty! Also, you are too much of a perfecktionist, Gail! I think your lights look just fine; so does your sponged sky, bright moon, and sweet Santa's sleigh silhouette!! Hugs, Darnell
